PennTransit Mobile helps you travel to, from, and around campus and the surrounding neighborhoods easily. See all of your options in one place: Penn Bus East and West, On-Demand Shuttles, and specialty services like the Pennovation Works Shuttle and Penn Accessible Transit. This app provides you accurate vehicle locations and arrival times, ensuring you have the information you need when you need it so you can arrive safely and on time. Simply download the app, login securely with your PennKey, and you're ready to go!

KEY FEATURES:

Advanced Trip Planner—from your start location to your final destination, know the route you’re going to take and determine whether our fixed-route buses or on-demand shuttles will get you there faster.

Schedule & Route Review—view route schedules on a stop-by-stop basis on all available routes so you can plan every trip ahead of time. The app also lets you know our service area boundaries so you can see if you need to use complimentary transportation such as SEPTA, LUCY, or Drexel Bus to get you to your final destination.

Intelligent Notifications—subscribe to routes or stops to get arrival, departure, and delay information sent directly to your device.

I’m talking on behalf of most students. We will appreciate it if we can have a notification alert that the driver has arrived since you often change wait times to 10 minutes or more after the initial time the user was given. Also for security reasons, kindly call the user to find out why they have not shown up. The user could have ended up in a health dilemma or attacked instead of just leaving them unattended. I believe Penn ride was developed for the security of the Penn community so please let’s tick all the boxes for security.

Could you set up the schedule for Penn Bus North so that I can predict about what time they are coming?
When I check the current locations of the buses, they often stay at 38th street for some while. Sometimes they stay very long and sometimes not that long.
And they suddenly start moving, so sometimes I miss them when I check their locations on the app next time.

My first ride was simple to schedule. The only issue I ran into was not knowing where the pick up spot was. I was standing across from HUP and the shuttle was on the Gates side. I ended up running to the other side of the building.

New app is causing a lot of problems. Went in the bus, was driving around for 20-30 minutes, didn’t pick up anyone or drop anyone off, then went right back to where I was picked up to pick up a new passenger.

I have been riding the Penn shuttle five nights per week for over three months at the same time every night. While I like that the new app will pick me up at my exact location on campus and the ability to favorite my route is great, the wait times since the launching of the new app have gone from around 7 minutes to often more than twenty and sometimes even 40 minutes or more. The app gives an arrival time and then keeps pushing it back two and sometimes three times.
