The routine planning of this app is terrible. Even when I am finally in a ride, my ride's route has changed so frequently to fit others' routes. And a 6 minutes ride turns into a 40 minutes trip! If you cannot figure out the algorithm, I am a CIS graduate student and I can do this for you in a minute. Went in the bus, was driving around for 20-30 minutes, didn’t pick up anyone or drop anyone off, then went right back to where I was picked up to pick up a new passenger. ### 3/5 — Kindly Call the user if they do not show up *2023-11-29* I’m talking on behalf of most students. We will appreciate it if we can have a notification alert that the driver has arrived since you often change wait times to 10 minutes or more after the initial time the user was given. Also for security reasons, kindly call the user to find out why they have not shown up. The user could have ended up in a health dilemma or attacked instead of just leaving them unattended. I believe Penn ride was developed for the security of the Penn community so please let’s tick all the boxes for security. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Penn Bus North Schedule *2023-10-20, version 95.1* Could you set up the schedule for Penn Bus North so that I can predict about what time they are coming? When I check the current locations of the buses, they often stay at 38th street for some while. Sometimes they stay very long and sometimes not that long. And they suddenly start moving, so sometimes I miss them when I check their locations on the app next time. ### 3/5 — Wait times have greatly increased with this new app *2022-12-08, version 91* I have been riding the Penn shuttle five nights per week for over three months at the same time every night. While I like that the new app will pick me up at my exact location on campus and the ability to favorite my route is great, the wait times since the launching of the new app have gone from around 7 minutes to often more than twenty and sometimes even 40 minutes or more. The only issue I ran into was not knowing where the pick up spot was. I was standing across from HUP and the shuttle was on the Gates side.
