She is always friendly, polite, and welcoming, with a great attitude towards customers. She takes care with every order, makes sure everything is correct, and always provides service with a smile. Even during busy times, she remains calm and professional. It’s a pleasure being served by someone who genuinely cares about customers. I spent ages adding everything on only to be told the order was rejected, so I had to go down and order from the counter anyway, and I couldn’t use my first time discount. There is an amazing spin the wheel which other platforms like just eat and uber eats do not have. The long, lone and level dark shadowed road stretched far off into the horizon. My stomach yearned for a flavour and mix to make my tastebuds tingle and jump in array. A dim glow shone into my tear glazed eyes and I lit up in excitement “Pepe’s Piri Piri” in bold, beautiful letter were planted on the wall like a jigsaw had fallen into place. I stumbled and bashed through the weightless door, my jubilant mind and eyes racing and scanning the menu hanging on the wall. A chicken and rice box. That’s what I want. My mouth watered at the sight and then I lowk ate dat ting thx Pepes for such a memorable experience I love the food can I please a black card. **Developer response:** Thank you for the 5 star review! ### 1/5 — Service fee makes app redundant for collection orders *2026-05-30* Ordering using the app adds a compulsory 99p to every purchase you make - making it a waste of time if you’re ordering for collection I now see that if you use ‘I’m in store’ then you are exempt from the service fee. However, how is any customer supposed to know this? The service fee should at least be subtracted from the subtotal you see in app when selecting that option. ### 5/5 — Great Improvements *2026-05-14* The app is so much better than it used to be, a lot of the 1 star reviews you see were when development was happening. I like the features and benefits you get from using the app! ### 5/5 — Changed the way I see life *2026-04-27* I was lost in life. No, honestly—completely lost. Then Pepe’s opened in my city, and suddenly I had purpose again. The chicken is unreal, the sauces should win awards, and the fries? Absolutely life-changing. I’m pretty sure they’ve solved at least three of my personal problems. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and never disappoints. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a weekly therapy session, only with better seasoning. If you haven’t tried Pepe’s yet, you’re missing out on one of life’s greatest joys. ### 1/5 — Why *2026-01-30* After 1000 years of ordering the same thing by phone for collection, today I received news that would break my heart and tear my world asunder. Pepes are no longer accepting phone orders. For all the past millennia my Fridays have been sustained by ordering a chicken and rice box with 2 mixed flavours for collection. The app does not allow you to add 2 mixed flavours. I am large so I should be in charge but my agency has been robbed from me, and I am at a loss as to how I should proceed - every road forward seems equally dark. Truly, with all the horror in the world right now, nothing compares to the loss of my mixed flavoured rice box. I would give less than 1 star if I could, as the app is incapable of doing the only thing I need it to do, allow me to order what I want to eat for collection so that I have enough time to eat it during my abysmally short lunch break. Do better app creators. Be better. Don’t do it for yourselves, but do it for me. My hunger is eternal.
