I do wish the version on my firestick would let me speed up the videos. ### 4/5 — Watch time resetting when connection drops *2026-06-23, version 4.11* Love the platform and the people on it but I have been having an issue, not sure if it is just an issue With my device (iPhone 11) or if others are experiencing it to. When ever my phone switches networks wifi to cellular or vice versa the episode Im listening if paused at the moment it happens will lose my place in the episode and start the episode from the beginning when I go to hit play on my earbuds. Didn’t bug me much at first but working as a electrician in the middle of nowhere Im often in and out of range of wifi and cellular so if the phone drops connection for a moment and reconnects or switch’s to a wifi network i lose my spot and then have to stop what im doing to try and scrub thru and try and resume where I left of which really sucks with the longer podcasts ### 4/5 — Huge fan of the guys over at Pepperbox but have some issues with videos *2026-06-22, version 4.11* When I try to fast forward 30 - 40 seconds in to a video it breaks and goes into a endless loop that cause me to have to close the app and reopen again it’s really annoying tbh but other then that it’s a great platform just wish you guys could fix that. Cause it could cause a new viewer to leave the platform. People were uploading like every other day now it’s only like once a week. I watched seven or eight people on this app and to be honest they all have stopped uploading anywhere near how much they were before. To be honest if the uploads don’t speed up, I’m just gonna cancel it and start watching them on YouTube a day later instead. I’ve been to a live show, I have SOOO many of their shirts, but why can’t my AirPods pause the iOS or AppleTV app with a button press, NOW my pause/play button won’t pause playback. I have to navigate to pause with arrows on the remote, the dedicated pause/play button won’t pause playback. But the actual application is in need of work. Of all the streaming apps out there, this one has the most issues for me. The app crashes frequently. The video will randomly stop playing but it isn’t a buffering issue. It acts as though it is stopped by the user. I find that many times the viewing history page won’t load correctly and it will be a blank screen unless I restart the app. Also sometimes when I try to resume a video from the history screen, it won’t load correctly unless I start playing another video first. ### 5/5 — Hek yea *2025-12-20, version 4.9.8* Worth the money, love all that you guys do🤙🏻🤙🏻 ### 4/5 — Great app, only 1 thing keeping it from a 5 star *2025-12-10* The app, owners, operators, channels, and content are 100% worth the subscription. And I can’t argue that enough. Absolutely love these people and what they do. Only thing that keeps it from a 5 star for me is loading times. I know it’s not necessarily something they can help and in time will definitely only get better. But for this current moment, the video loading times can take a while. I mainly try to watch or have videos on in the background on my phone listening with headphones while I’m at work and most of the time, it will take 5-10 minutes for a video to load and start playing. Not long in the grand scheme of things but can get a bit annoying when I’m watching 10-15 minute videos. Other than that, I love this app. Love these creators and their content. I know those times will improve the longer the app is available. So I can’t complain much since that’s the only thing with the app that I see needs a little improvement on. All in all, worth every penny for a subscription and for what these guys do for the veteran community, I can deal with a little extended loading times. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Subscribed by mistake *2026-07-18, version 4.11* They have a strict no refund policy. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) felt massively disappointed with the ignorant comments about my religion during the most recent episode of unsub. I canceled my unsub subscription. I downloaded the app and was shocked they are trying to charge for this. We don’t care about ads, in an age where EVERYTHING is a subscription, we’re tired of it. I have enough subscriptions and will not be adding more. $0.99/mo would probably get you more subscribers, $8/mo for such a tiny, insignificant platform is insane. Can’t stand them. That being said, this is the only streaming-type service that I subscribe to and I do so happily. Pepperbox is hilarious and features people that I have been watching for so long on YT like Scott from ‘Kentucky Ballistics’ and the soon-to-be Congressman Brandon Herrera to others, guys who have become like old friends even though I don’t know them personally and have never hung out with them. Watching their videos just feels like hanging out with an old friend, usually one who gets up to the type of nonsense that you would have to had at least a few nips from the bourbon to think that this bad idea is actually a really great idea and we should totally try to see if we can make this expensive rifle explode intentionally. And because of the app I’ve found other cool channels to watch as well because there’s a lot more creators on there. The fact that you can watch these crazy people get up to crazy things without the censorship of YT makes the app worth its subscription price, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone who loves firearms and who loves to laugh. Of course there is far more on the app than just firearms and comedy, but those are bonuses! I do wish that the team would come up with an app for PlayStation and Xbox because I’d much rather watch the videos on my big ol’ tv instead of my iPhone screen. As I’m just a few weeks away from 48 I’m too old to figure out how to get what’s on my phone screen to play on my tv, if that’s even an option and I don’t know if it is. I started with fat electricians military history, but now I can barely keep up. all the creators regular channels are worth the $8, not to mention the huge log of exclusive stuff.
