I have not put my direct payment information into any app/website since the induction of Pay years ago, and DO NOT plan on reverting to an archaic, non-secure method. So—because of that—I did not place my order from within the app (and ordered through Yelp, like I had done previously). I will not be using this app until those two features are implemented. Yes, I may have gotten a discount if I purchased from the Pepperoni’s app, but I value the security of my payment information more. App is very slow. I try using the app directly instead of going to a third party app but it just doesn’t work well. Please fix and update ### 1/5 — Just a link *2020-05-29, version 1.0* From what I can see the app is purely a link to their website. It looks horrible on iOS. I hope they spend a bit more money to get a decent app developer. ### 1/5 — The pizza is great but the app is terrible *2019-08-03, version 1.0* This app is really challenging to use. If you use it on an iPad you are presented with a tiny window and mini keyboard. It is probably easier just to call. ### 1/5 — Ended up calling anyway *2019-05-29, version 1.0* Tried using website and the site froze. I took the time to download the app, reorder and even entered payment information. When I hit order, I got a progress bar saying order submitted. Progress bar never moved and eventually timed out with error message, telling me that my order may have been placed, and resubmitting order may result in duplicate charges. Message advised me to call the store to verify. I called the store (which I should have just done in the first place!). The store did not receive the order, so I placed the order for the 3rd time over the phone. The person taking my order said they had received “a lot” of calls about the website not working! I asked if I would be charged twice, and she assured me I would not! However, I am “a lot” skeptical about the validity of the answer. And now I’m spending more time writing a review. Sometimes trying to save time is just not worth it! I do love their pizza and salads but I deleted app. I’ll just call again next time. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2019-03-06, version 1.0* This app is very poorly written. It is not intuitive, nor is it particularly self explanatory. It takes a few times using it to figure out the trick to getting it to work (rather than just pick up the app and order food, which it is supposed to do). Not possible to cancel items off an order, not possible to save user info or use fingerprint ID to sign in, so I just use the website mobile page on Safari which does give you that functionality. I have had issues trying to maintain and use my rewards and on frequent occasions it just has an error message. I can not believe it would break the bank to have a half-decent developer re-write the app for pepperonis and get it up to the standard of so many other online food ordering apps. See Chipotle, for example. ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work *2018-11-27, version 1.0* Very user unfriendly. It’s difficult to navigate and won’t recognize addresses. The biggest problem for me was trying to put my address in. It brings you to a page that looks like a website on a computer and you can’t zoom out so you have to move the screen around to see all of the information. You’re much better off just using there website to order—which doesn’t say much because their website in itself is not the easiest to use, when it’s working at all that is. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unexpected error *2026-05-21, version 4.0.1* I’m trying to create my account profile and all I get is Unexpected Error. Nothing helps. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2026-03-24, version 4.0.1* Truly terrible app. Have to log in multiple times to do anything. Whenever I try to track my order the app says the order doesn’t belong to this account, signs me out, and makes me sign in again. It happens EVERY time I try to track my order. Just use the website, the app is absolute garbage. ### 1/5 — Pizza is fantastic, app is terrible *2024-09-07, version 1.1* Please fix the app. Why do I have to log in every time I use the app? Cannot log in at the moment. App is confusing for how to select toppings. Used to work fine. Now it logs you out about half way through and order and starts over. Same thing happens on the website. When you call to make an order they are aware. Makes me not even want to order from here anymore. ### 1/5 — App upgrade is worse *2023-04-02, version 1.1* I used the app often. It was easy to mark what I didn’t want in a salad or on a pizza. That went away. It just asks if you want utensils. In the comments box, I said “no green peppers”. I clicked the REQUIRED box that I wanted utensils. What did I get? Plenty of green peppers and NO utensils. If you expect me to eat my salad with dressing with my hands, at least you should provide napkins. NOPE. No napkins either. The app grade goes from a B to an F minus minus. Dominos is getting a new customer. ### 1/5 — App is terrible *2022-09-25, version 1.0* The app doesn’t know what user-friendliness is. There are dozens of unnecessary clicks, scrolls and dialog boxes that pop up for no reason, or are actively in the way. No ability to use Apple Pay or the Apple wallet, which is nonsense. The food is good, the app is bad. Unfortunately the website is just as bad. ### 1/5 — App is broken *2021-04-26, version 1.0* Your app can’t accept a standard 5 digit zip code. Fix it or I order from Pizza Hut. ### 1/5 — Laughably bad *2021-04-19, version 1.0* The creator, Granbury, makes this app look like a high school tech design project that got a C. It is so clunky and user unfriendly because the designers were lazy enough to just paste the desktop website straight into this app with no extra considerations. No widescreen compatibility nor any sense of responsiveness to be found.
