The output is lovely and clear. My ONE issue (actually there's 2) is the keyboard starts up in letter not number mode.... That's a real pain and irritates me so much that for the moment I won't get the paid for version...... The other issue is that it seems stuck in portrait mode... If this could flip into landscape mode then it would be the killer app on my ipad :-) ### 4/5 — Percentage App *2012-10-28* Good app if you can sort out in your head exactly what it is that you want to do. It did the calculations perfectly but no more. How unfortunate. I will be deleting this app and moving on to one that actually tells me the correct calculations. ### 1/5 — Bring back the Original! Absolutely Useless! *2016-10-07* Cannot believe this is an 'update' - more like a hack! Am devastated as the previous version was just fantastic and invaluable - this version is s compete waste of time and all other reviews re errors etc are 100% accurate in their damnation. Such a pity - but this is def a FAIL :( :( :( ..... Had to put on one star to get this review on but it's not worthy in any way! ### 1/5 — Was great, now.... *2016-10-06* The previous incarnation of this app was so bloody handy but unfortunately it has been completely ruined with the new update. I used it this morning to put a quote together and let's just say it was a good thing I noticed the new apps errors before I passed the quote to my client!!! The calculations are completely up the spout, even a simple calculation of "increase 50 by 10%" will give an answer of 51!!! Even with my rudimentary grasp of mathematics I know this is completely wrong. Such a shame, I'll try another app, or a calculator.... ### 2/5 — Good app but... *2015-09-23* ....man does it ever hog the battery juice. Used it for about 15 minutes and it used 30% of my available charge. One must press "calculate" after imputing numbers, therefore requiring an extra step. However, as I use it for working out my retail prices, an issue has come to my attention. The keyboard! I have to go through so much to get to a decimal point. UI is good and easy to navigate. I mostly use it to calculate “% changed” and “% of a number”. I wish it had a paid version to remove the ads. I would gladly pay $1-3 for it. However, ads are not intrusive in this app. No annoying pop-ups or anything like that. Just a tiny banner at the bottom of the screen.
