No variation in the sounds, very flat. Not serious enough, maybe a good start, but you need about 20 more samples per instrument, especially for $4 and Japanese.

実際にラテン系音楽をかけながら、試してください。
おそらく、ビートの0.1秒？かの遅れが、ライブ演奏では使い物にならないでしょう。
何度も突っ込みぎみにリズムを刻んでみましたが、やはり難しいですね。
ほんとにお遊び程度に使うのならかまいませんけど、もたった音楽ほど不愉快なのはありませんしね。
ソフトとして有料にするには基本的に『打楽器』という基準で落第です！！

The worst percussion app, no velocities, tiny percussions,  no recording mode, dubious taste of the visuals, not worth the price.

Das tolle an dieser App war, dass man zu jeder Musik im djay mitspielen konnte ohne das die Musik leiser wurde. Leider ist das seit dem letzten Update nicht mehr so. Sobald man die Percussions App öffnet, wird die Musik leiser. Das ist echt ärgerlich und sehr schade.

Crashed right after opening. Deleted and reinstalled. Same thing. Tried contacting company before I wrote this review. Never returned emails. I wouldn't have given this any stars if that were an option. Don't buy. Make better use of your money. Take some cash and flush it down the toilet or set it on fire and roast marshmallows. At least then it would give you momentary enjoyment!

Bummer!!!  Bought it and loved it.  We were going to use it for an upcoming performance - and now it doesn't work!!!!  Please fix!

I bought this app and it opened once, maybe twice for me. I've an ipad2 and made sure I updated my system so that everything was up to date and it still won't open up. I was hoping to use this for about the same thing that Northpoint did, but now, were looking else where.

Cartoony and unresponsive these drums are stupid and not fun.  It Only plays a basic sound and doesn't respond to taps.

Franchement une application des plus bidon. Les sons samples sont peu npmbreux et pour certains de mauvaise qualitée. Quand à l'ergonomie elle reflète le niveau très médiocre. Mais le pire dans tout ça c'est la description de l'apps fais dans l'appstore. Franchement Apple faites de bonne traduction ou alors ne traduisez pas.

I never expected it to be this good. It's not just tap a picture and hear a pre recorded sound. Like on the maraca it plays to when and to what rythem you play it to. perfect. I'm not even into music and I love it. Great job whoever made this, pat yourself on the back.

It's a fun app for playing some good sounds. Now that the bug is fixed and it opens, I'm back to playing along and using the sounds.

This has taken over as my favourite percussion app. The different styles of play give rise to a lot of expression and the responsiveness is excellent, particularly for shaking motions like with the triangle and maracas. I think the manual should be included with the app, rather than just on the website, as not everything works how you might think by looking at the icons. Also there are a couple of small quirks - for instance you can tap the triangle to start it playing and immediately (before the animation stops) mute it again by pressing the screen, which is great. However you can't mute it if you started it ringing by shaking instead of tapping, and you can't mute it after the animation has stopped even though it is still ringing. Sometimes the screen doesn't recognise it is being pressed too.

If they sorted these out, it would be a 5-star app. If they added a whole bunch of extra sounds, it would be a 6-star app :o)

音楽の仕事をしています。
レイテンシーも無く、音源もよくて、即戦力！と思いましたが
一度使ってオフにし、再度使おうとすると立ち上がりません。致命的。
これが改善されたらとてもよいアプリだと思うのですが。
iOS5.0.1に追いついてないんでしょうか？

its a fun app i have to admit. me and my kids have fun just messing around. we are using this app for our christmas show this year. there is a glitch in it though. since downloading iOS5 on my iphone and ipad, sometimes it wont load. it acts like its opening and shuts down. my way around it is to just delete the app and re-download it. a little pain in the butt, but still fun!

Several of us downloaded this app at the same time for our iBand fun project. Two of us could get no sound on iPads though the others could. Sound came through on earphones, however.

Solution found: The side switch on the iPad was used for screen locking instead of the default muting.  Switching it back to the mute default using iPad Settings reinstates the main sound.  It can then be switched back to locking again, if preferred.  Soo simple: sooo frustrating!

This may be the problem also for the previous reviewer.

Cool app.  Though it won't open all of a sudden.  Not just on my phone either.  It starts to open then just returns to my home screen!  Weird.  We were going to use this app for an iBand performance.
