The amount of features that it boasted in the tutorial was impressive and had very high expectations. I have used the app for less than five minutes in hopes that the 5* review was honest, this app is extremely laggy to the point of being unusable. I also have an annoyance with apps *saying* that they’re free but is useless because of a hidden paywall.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the honest feedback, and I’m sorry the first experience was a frustrating one.

The lag you’re describing isn’t normal, the app shouldn’t be unusable, so something specific is going wrong on your setup and I’d genuinely like to fix it. If you can tell me which iPad model you’re on, it would help me track it down. A lot of performance issues come down to a specific device or iPadOS combination I can then reproduce and patch.

On the pricing: the base app is free with 6 pages, and that’s meant to be a real trial, not a teaser. The paid part is individual notebooks (one-time purchase) or a subscription if someone prefers. I hear you that it wasn’t clear enough up front, and that’s on me to communicate better, not something I want anyone feeling tricked by.

If you’re open to giving it another shot once I understand the lag, write me directly, I read every message and I’d rather fix the problem than lose you over it

I have been looking for a replacement for another legacy app, this one is showing up good so far. Keeping fingers crossed.
 Only needed the free version but went ahead and bought the notebooks because obviously they give you more bang for your buck

Read your notebooks, take quick notes and get your reminders on your phone. Everything syncs with your iPad, where you write and draw.
- Quick notes: formatted text, checklists, tables, photos, folders with emoji and colors, tags. Assign a note to a notebook, then place it exactly where you want from the + inside that notebook.
- Reminders: circle anything on a page with the lasso and tap Remind me. The notification takes you straight back to that spot, on iPad or iPhone. Add it to Calendar if you like.
