Might seem like minor things but I would not have paid $8.99 if you couldn’t do the little things. Not terrible though. ### 4/5 — Wonderful Bowling Tracker *2017-04-07, version 1.6* The screens in this app are great to use. The colors and graphics are easy on the eyes, and recording games is a breeze. It's strength is the analysis feature. It comes with different analysis already set up in what they call "Smart Lists" such as top events, top 100 games etc. You can even set up Smart Lists for anything you would like to track. Only a few entries required, and you are on your way. I printed out the manual to maximize its features. Well written and very easy to understand. The developer is very responsive, and based on a few of my suggested features gets back to me very quickly. This app is worth the price vs features in the other four apps I have used. Just wish there was a way to backup or even cloud sync the data. Then it would be perfect. ### 4/5 — Very Useful *2011-12-19, version 1.3* I use this every week for my leagues and it really gives a lot of detailed info. There are a few changes I would like to see such as the ability to store the league info so I don't have to enter it every week and the whether it is a league or tournament. What I love about the app is that I can track where I stood on the approach and where I threw the ball. This is very helpful for the next time I am on that pair of lanes. Also, helpful is what ball was used. The information that can be viewed after each session is great. Overall I am very pleased with this app. I think it has great potential. ### 3/5 — iPad support please *2011-11-29, version 1.3* HOW COME THERE IS NO VERSION FOR THE IPAD? I don't get it these devs are treating the iPad like a red headed step child!!! ### 5/5 — Excellent stat tracker and more!! *2010-12-24, version 1.2.1* A lot going on with this app. Would recommend going to the developers web page and downloading and printing the user manual. What seemed cumbersome at first became a breeze and a joy after going through the user manual. It's obvious to me that the lower reviews on this app never took the time to do so. If they had, they would have given this app 5 stars. Great for anyone wanting to keep accurate stats to improve their game. Amatuers and pros alike will appreciate being able to keep stats from house to house, breaking down a particular week, squad, series and the options go on. Make a quick note about a ball, a particular shot or game. See what pins you are leaving the most and your percentage of conversions. And on, and on ..... Great App guys!! Would like to be able to do analysis by leagues, locations, balls, and game. Thanks for this app. Great potential! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Serious concerns about privacy… *2021-08-23, version 1.64* Author should explain why application requires access to my contacts in order to add a bowling center. I understand requesting it to make it more convenient for the user, but it’s not possible to even manually add a bowling center. Here’s the deal - (1) you’re not getting access to my contacts and (2) even if you did, I don’t have my bowling center in my contacts. Who does??? Admittedly there are some who are probably that organized, but I’ll bet most people just type the bowling center name into their search engine of choice and dial from there. This just feels overly intrusive and useless and as such will be immediately deleted from my phone. It’s too bad because it looks like it might be pretty solid otherwise. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work! *2015-11-11, version 1.3* This app does not go past home screen. Doesn't work at all. Waste of money! I am very disappointed that Bowlers journal to the time to advertise this app. Not user friendly, does not allow stat tracking, i.e. Strike percentage, spare precentage, etc... It has potential but for a paid app, it needs to be better than what is offered. Don't waste your time or money with this!!! ### 1/5 — Terribly overated *2010-07-18, version 0* The people writing reviews for this software must either be relatives of the author or else know little about bowling. The interface is cumbersome and it lacks easy access to deleting games or sets. There are already better programs in the apple store than this one. Don't waste your time unless the author works very hard to upgrade. ### 2/5 — Problems *2025-08-24, version 1.65* The app doesn’t allow games to be entered without entering individual frame pin counts. This is a great app for tournament bowlers, but not for league bowlers. I have small nitpicks with reports and possible options that can upgrade the app to the next level but it does exactly what is said it will soon description. This fall will be my 15th season using this app. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-01-08* Very good, I have used this for nine years for all league and tournament data. It has been helpful to pinpoint spare shooting problems and track all pin related statistics. I have submitted feedback to the developer in the past with some bugs which have been fixed so that is great work listening to the end user by him. I just put in the pin count and ball used... It does way more than I actually utilize...
