### 1/5 — Paywall Trash

*2026-10-02*

The catalog of fragrances is severely lacking, I couldn’t even find designers. There are A LOT of features blocked behind a paywall. Feels likes a sloppy cash grab

**Developer response:** Thanks for trying the app.

A few facts, since the review doesn't match what's in it. The catalog has over 45,000 fragrances, designers included (Dior, Chanel, YSL, Tom Ford, Creed and the rest).

If a search came up empty, tell us what you typed and we'll look at it.

On the paywall: browsing the full catalog, search, price comparison across stores, the Buy button, your bottle shelf, reading reviews and following people are all free.

The free plan limits three things: wishlist size, bottle scans and concierge questions per week.

Premium removes those limits and adds recommendations, dupes and price alerts, which cost us real money to run.

We'd rather be clear about that than pretend an app with live prices and image recognition runs for free.

We're a small team and we'd rather be upfront about pricing than call ourselves free and nickel-and-dime you later.

Harsh review, but fair question about pricing, so here's the full answer.

### 1/5 — Rushed and unpolished

*2026-09-24*

The app is pretty slow. I also couldn’t find a bunch of fragrances in my collection(maybe it just isn’t finished?). The scent test, while a good idea on paper kinda just gives off reading a horoscope and doesn’t seem to hold any weight in my opinion. Also clearly vibe coded.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. Three things:

Missing fragrances: the catalogue grows every week, and the fastest way to get yours in is to send the names through Settings > Help in the app. Eleven bottles a user sent this week were added within a day.

Speed: 1.2.2 is on its way to the App Store now with a faster catalogue and lighter images. If a particular screen is still slow after that, tell us which one and we'll dig in, it could also depend on your WIFI connection.

Scent test: it's built only from the answers you give, so it's as sharp as the quiz you took. It gets more precise as you add bottles and rate what you wear. If it still reads like a horoscope after that, we'd genuinely like to hear where it misses.

### 5/5 — Great App

Super cool to have a content creator I enjoy make an app. And have the app be so unique! Big fan of what this app has to offer and I’m excited to use it more.
