Month 2: fine. Month 3: fine. Month 4: fine. Month 5… I’m late. Day 1 late—okay, maybe stress. Day 2 late—hmm, that’s weird. So I take a pregnancy test, just for giggles… and it comes back POSITIVE. The way I stared at that test—you would’ve thought I saw a ghost. I cried, panicked, went through all the emotions… but eventually, I came to terms with it. Out of curiosity, I Googled my estimated due date… and realized something that made my stomach drop. The ovulation window Google gave me was a FULL WEEK different from what this app predicted. I started crying all over again. I felt completely misled. I know myself—and I know I would have made different choices if the timing of this app had been accurate. I understand a couple days but a WHOLE WEEK? So please, if you’re relying on an app like this alone… be careful.
