### 3/5 — Not too bad

*2011-12-01, version 4.3*

Wish there was electron ring diagrams (maybe you could put in update) and when you press Hassium nothing happens and when you press element 118 it shows the stats for hassium

### 3/5 — Its an ok app

*2011-10-05, version 4.3*

Its a decent table and i would have liked it if it had the number of electrons on each ring for the elements

### 3/5 — Decent reference, could be better

*2010-05-12, version 0*

This periodic table app seems serviceable enough. Overall, a good alternative to the back cover or your high school chemistry textbook. Characteristics provided for each element are plentiful, but the "What is...?" blurb is underdeveloped. The one for silver, for example, could talk about it's naturally occurring isotopes being nearly equally abundant. The attempt to list practical applications of the elements is good, but falls short. Osmium, for example, has none listed, though it is the densest element and is often found in fountain pen nibs and routinely used as a contrast agent for electron microscopy.

There is a prettier periodic table app out there, with photos of the elements, but it doesn't have nearly as many useful physical characteristics.

### 4/5 — Good but could be better

*2009-11-07, version 0*

Its a good app but would be better if you could go to the elements details by clicking on it from the font page. It would be a 5 star app if it had that feature.

### 3/5 — Good but

*2009-06-11, version 0*

The history is not loading

### 3/5 — OK

*2009-06-02, version 0*

Decent periodic table to quickly find the basics, the only problem is you need to sort a list to bring up the properties of the element. If the app changes so that you can just press on the element to get to its properties that would be much more efficient. For this reason alone I give three stars since it makes it more annoying than anything to get to the properties, would get 5 if this is fixed.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2009-02-18, version 0*

This app is just ok, really neat zooming feature but the information available for each element should be able to be seen just by touching the element itself, instead of having to dig through the list to find it.
5 stars if that is changed.

### 4/5 — good.

*2009-02-06, version 0*

great, brah

### 4/5 — Good

*2008-11-10, version 0*

Needs to have feature of touching pic. On the table and having the info come up instead of going to the list of elements. Click yes if you agree.

### 2/5 — Review your products before selling.

*2008-11-07, version 0*

It's nice to be able to have the periodic table and be able to zoom in, but some of the data is not correct. Like Boron having a atomic weight of 280 something.. I really wouldn't be complaining, but since I paid for it, I would expect the data to be accurate. Makes me question how accurate all the other data is with something like this being off by so much. Please correct this and I'll adjust my review.

### 4/5 — Electrical Apprentice

*2008-09-26, version 0*

I like the details this application provides. You can view the information in either table form or through a list of the elements. I found a lot of the information useful and was pleased to see an update. Being an electrical apprentice I would love to see the number of electrons in the valence ring for each element added in a future update. Great app!

### 1/5 — Periodic Table

*2011-02-06*

Sehr ärmliche Version. Läßt sich nicht mit den Fingern vergrößern

### 1/5 — It just went blank

*2011-01-12, version 4.2*

It was working pretty decent and then it turns blank. I regret buying it I found one similar to it for free.

### 1/5 — Periodic Table，

Digital

### 1/5 — No big deal

*2010-07-06, version 0*

Basically you get a picture of the Periodic Table; one that you could easily download. The descriptions of the elements are very basic and not worth much, no boiling/ freezing points, nothing. They are not even linked to the pitcture, what a rip off. Save your dollar, I wish that I did.

### 1/5 — DO NOT GET THIS!!!

*2010-06-12, version 0*

20 GIANT THUMBS DOWN INTO THE GROUND!!! IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW WHATEVED YOU DO KUST DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!! TRUST ME, there's just too many bugs to even list in this app it is so bad!!! Because of this app I failed my Earth Science Final!!!

### 1/5 — Poor

*2009-08-14*

Extremly poor in design and handling!!!

### 1/5 — This App is Wrong

*2008-10-31, version 0*

If I could I would give this negative stars. The periodic table and the reference list to not match up. Like element on the periodic table with atomic number 108 is Hassium, but on the reference list this element, along with others, is not listed. Instead the element that is listed has having the same Atomic number and mass is Unniloctium. On top of this the periodic table is way out dated. Bottom line, this application is a sad attempt made by a 6-year old to paste together a couple of internet sources into a application and then sell it for a dollar. THIS IS A SKAM.

### 1/5 — No...

*2008-10-16, version 0*

All my other apps are well designed and intuitive. This app is deleted; I have been let down.
The periodic table looks awful, even zoomed out. It's all a blur and is horribly untidy. If you zoom in -- don't get me started. The information may be relevent for each element, but it's in such a small box we'll never know.

This developer cannot be bothered to update this app. Fine. Deleted.
Get Periodic. You will have no regrets.

### 1/5 — Periodic Table

*2008-10-08, version 0*

Rather poor implementation. Almost unusuable. Save your money.

### 1/5 — Very poor, would be OK if it was for free

*2008-09-21*

Not worth the money, it is basically a picture of a static periodic table (that you can zoom, etc.) and a list of the elements (in alphabetical order) with data displayed if you select one.
If you want a periodic table, get 'The Chemical Touch', which is actually worth the money spent on it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Bad update

*2012-10-29, version 4.4*

You still haven't named lots of the newly discovered elements yet.

### 5/5 — Great

*2012-01-31, version 4.3*

Really great for students who loves chemistry, and started to know chemistry

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-01-16, version 4.3*

Easy to use, informative, and all I really need to know. 5/5

### 5/5 — WOW, sooo amazing

*2009-01-25, version 0*

Great value for money, great info. I am an A level chemistry student and love this, other reviews are completly unjustified, recommend to everyone!

### 5/5 — Very useful reference

*2008-11-03, version 0*

I really like the zoom features for this app. It has everything that a periodic table should have. It helps me a lot in taking my chemistry class. It actually provides tons of information about certain element. by the way, I really enjoy reading the history of each element.

### 5/5 — Extremely Useful

*2008-10-07, version 0*

Anyone that said this app wasn't worth the .99 didn't explore it well enough. The table is great and the list view has tons of information. Perfect for my 10th grade chemistry class.

### 5/5 — Table

*2008-09-05, version 0*

It does everything it should, the table is somewhat hard to see clearly however, but an update should fix that, definitly worth a dollar to any chemistry student

### 4/5 — Simple Table

*2012-01-07, version 4.3*

It's a simple periodic table. Tap on an element will give you detail information on it.

### 4/5 — Easy to use but some errors

*2011-04-23, version 4.2*

I have found the following errors:
Number 118 is actually called Ununoctium.
The weight of ununoctium (293) is written on ununhexium. Ununhexium is in fact 289.

### 4/5 — Most Useful

*2010-07-30, version 0*

While this periodic table lacks the bling of some of the other periodic table, it is the only one that provides quick reference to the most commonly used items on the table. This makes it by far the most useful one available for quickly referencing molar masses. In addition to the general table, that can be pinched to zoom, press and hold gives access to more general info.

My only problem with the table is that is is little more than a scanned image of someone else's table. This causes pixelation at high zoom and should be replaced with a vector version, but more seriously I question whether the developer actually has permission to use the image.
