## What is periods.?

Read faster. Understand more. One word at a time.

periods. uses RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) to deliver text at a fixed point so your eyes stay still and your brain does the reading. Import any article, PDF, or EPUB — or paste text directly — and read it at speeds you didn't think were possible.

• Adaptive pacing adjusts timing based on word length and punctuation
• On-device comprehension checks powered by Apple Intelligence
• Focus Score tracks consistency, endurance, and speed over time
• Daily challenge with a fresh passage every day
• Reading streaks and detailed stats
• Dark mode with a warm, comfortable palette
• No accounts required — works offline, everything stays on your device

Start at 300 words per minute. Push from there.
