There is no actual real support other than to offer questions that I don’t need. All I would like is for Perkins to just please email me the password link like the app says it will but it never does. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2025-05-09* Worthless app. Good luck getting it set up and usable. ### 1/5 — No parts manuals *2025-01-23* Worst app ever downloaded. Didn’t find my engine serial number. Asked for help but still waiting for support. ### 1/5 — Zero stars if I could *2024-06-19, version 7.0.1* An utterly useless app. Clunky, slow to use and set up and it offers nothing I cant find on google. Then the dodgy buggars make You allow data sharing to gain access to “service manuals”. So you allow data sharing because you want the manual and all you gain access too is the Perkins generic fluid guide… Useless, worthless, a scam. I’ll never get that half hour back. Shame on you Perkins. ### 1/5 — Login issue *2021-11-05, version 4.3.5* Login button doesn’t work on iPhone 7 ### 1/5 — Don’t bother. *2021-05-29, version 4.3.5* The app is slow and painful to use. Have to log in all the time as you can’t just stay logged on. But you have no need to log in anyway as the Smart Caps don’t work. Great engines but they have a long way to go in the app/ tec department. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2021-04-08, version 4.3.5* It doesn’t accept my engine numbers, then shows a pdf to check them (not that they are wrong )but cannot zoom it so that it’s actually readable, ‘contact us’ doesn’t work - it always says something like ‘complete all fields’ ### 1/5 — Only seems to support new engines. *2020-09-17, version 4.3.0* The parts specialist at Perkins encouraged me to try this app but sadly it doesn’t recognise my engine. What a waste of time registering. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-12-10* After getting the app installed and creating a login it is unable to verify the serial number for engine information. Would have been better off to just call. ### 2/5 — Can’t create an account because of phone number? *2022-05-10* I’d really like to try to use this app, but it won’t let me create an account! It tells me I have to complete all the fields, which I did, but it insists that I need to fill in all the fields. How do you argue with an ignorant app that doesn’t give you a way to challenge its false assertion? What is the app doing for 20 Minutes spinning it’s “working” wheel when you try to access it? So, then I try the “Contact us” route. It insists my phone number is invalid. That’s news to me! It is a perfectly valid U.S. phone number and format. You don’t need my phone number for ME to contact YOU! It would appear this app was written by a group of interns. GIVE US AN ACTUAL WAY TO CONTACT YOU ABOUT THIS APP, WITHOUT HAVING TO USE THE APP TO DO SO! Woefully pathetic, invalid, and unusable. Perfect for aggravating customers… ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — Needs some work *2021-08-20* This is an excellent concept and app, I do like how you can view manuals/parts diagrams directly related to engine serial numbers. However, this app crashes often. Most times, it won’t even load. Generally deleting the app and all data then reinstalling fixes it for a short while.
