THE NEED The lack of Maltese educational content for children on digital platforms and on television in general has pushed parents towards foreign content, particularly that which is broadcast in English; the language that the younger generation seems to be embracing fully, whilst forgoing the opportunity to learn the mother language. THE IDEA Perlina TV is a digital platform, exclusively created for children of different age groups, intended to entertain and educate them through the Maltese language. Children will be exposed to an entertaining world full of colourful characters, Maltese speaking superheroes, the narrating of fairy tales, animal adventures and other magical stories. New content will be added every week.
