TRANSCRIPTS RETURN Finish a voice entry and Permission turns it into text you can read back. It happens entirely on your iPhone using on-device speech recognition — your recording is never uploaded, and if your phone has no offline model for your language the app tells you so rather than sending your audio anywhere. The transcript is yours to edit, and it saves alongside the recording. PAUSE AND CARRY ON Tapping the microphone no longer starts a new recording over the top of the one you were making. It pauses. Stop to gather a thought, tap again, and the same take keeps going — nothing you have already said is lost. Tap Done when you have finished, and the whole recording is transcribed together.
