同じ種類のピースを3つ揃えて消し込んでいく「マッチ3パズル」の中にゲームの主人公のキャラクタが入り込んだシステム。主人公を上下左右に動かすことも、主人公と無関係にピースを3つ揃えて消すことも、さらに主人公が動いてピースが交換されることで3つ揃えることもできる、ハイブリッドなゲーム。主人公が敵を直接攻撃して倒したり、敵のピースを3つ揃えて一気に消したり、はたまた敵の近辺のピースを揃えて敵をずらして間合いを調整したりなど、奥の深さが垣間見えます。 ◆ ゲームはユーザー自身が発見していく要素が多め。敵の特性や間合いを考慮して倒すためのテクニックや「魔法猫」と呼ばれるアイテムをどう獲得して使うかという戦略などはゲームしながら自ら学び、攻略していく楽しさがあります。アイテムを使用して塔を上って行きますが、HPがなくなれば何階にいようと即ゲームオーバーで1階からやり直しという、ユーザーをピリピリとさせる緊張感のあるシステムはローグという名作RPGを思わせます。 ◆ 難点はスコアリングがゲームの面白さとあまり連動していないことです。塔を攻略するのはとても楽しく、クリアするだけでもやり込み性はあるのですが、さらにそこからスコアの上位ランクを目指していくと徐々に爽快感より徒労感が上回ってくるのが残念です。もっとワクワクするスコアリングだといいなと思います。 ◆ 評価は4。大好きなBeXideさんの作品なので全力で5にしたいところでもあり、繰り返し攻略する楽しみを考えれば買い切りの課金は決して損ではありません。私は1回遊んですぐに購入しました。ですが、スコアリングの件だけでなく、細かいUIなどには一層の向上を期待します。 ◆ また、マッチスリーと主人公の移動を組み合わせたせっかくの野心的なシステムですので、もっともっと面白いゲームに変わる余地がありそうです。
