## What is personAIity?

Describe someone in plain language. We write them. Then you talk to them.

"A retired jazz musician in Lisbon who distrusts streaming." That is enough to start. personAIity reads your description, asks only for what it left out, and a person writes the persona from it. What comes back is somebody with their own slang, their own day and their own opinions -- not an assistant waiting to help you.

MAKE YOUR OWN
Buy a credit and describe the person you want. The app asks only for what your description did not say -- write "a 62-year-old" and it never asks your persona's age. Your request goes to a person who writes them, which takes up to 24 hours to generate, and they appear under Yours when they are ready.

OR CHOOSE SOMEBODY WE HAVE WRITTEN
A shelf of personas with a life already in place. Choose one and they are written for you -- yours is nobody else's. Every card says how long they are yours, and nothing is spent until you have said yes.

THEY LIVE SOMEWHERE
A persona in Lisbon knows it is evening there. One in California measures in miles and talks about the weather actually happening outside their window. Small things, but they are the difference between a character and a chatbot.

WRITTEN, NOT GENERATED AND FORGOTTEN
Every persona is reviewed by a person before it reaches you. If one says something it should not have, the report button in the chat menu sends it straight to us.

CREDITS, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION
One credit is one persona. Credits never expire, they follow your account to any device, and you are only charged when a persona is actually delivered. 

Requires an internet connection. Personas are written by a language model and reviewed by a person; they are fiction, and they can be wrong. Nothing a persona says is advice — not medical, legal, financial, psychological or safety advice, whoever that persona is written to be. Treat a conversation as what it is: a conversation with a character. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
