## What is Personal Cards?

Personal Cards is a private, offline-first wallet for all the physical cards you carry every day — driver's licenses, membership cards, credit and debit cards, gift and store cards, business cards, and anything else. Snap a photo and the app auto-detects the card's edges, corrects the perspective, and stores it at full resolution. Sensitive categories are encrypted at rest and unlocked with Face ID.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything is stored on this device only — no account, no cloud, no uploads
• Sensitive categories use iOS complete file protection — unreadable while the device is locked
• Face ID / Touch ID gate for ID, banking, membership, and shopping cards
• The gate re-locks automatically when the app leaves the foreground
• Category edit and delete is always biometric-protected

SMART CAPTURE
• Live document detection with automatic edge tracking
• Perspective correction to axis-align every card
• Full sensor resolution preserved — QR codes stay scannable
• Auto-rotates portrait shots to landscape
• Manual four-corner adjustment when you need to fine-tune
• Import existing photos from the Photo Library through the same pipeline

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY
• Six built-in categories: ID, Membership, Banking, Shopping, Name, Others
• Create your own custom categories with a name, icon, color, and encryption setting
• Add groups inside any category to further organize (e.g., "Family" or "Loyalty")
• Reorder cards and groups from the context menu — Top / Up / Down / Bottom
• Wallet-style stacked layout — pinch to cascade or collapse

NAME CARDS WITH OCR
• Automatic Vision-based recognition of business cards
• Extracts name, company, phone, email, website, and address
• Search the whole collection by name, company, or phone number
• One-tap "Add to Contact" writes the recognized info to your device's Contacts

WI-FI WEB TRANSFER
• Transfer card images between devices over your local Wi-Fi network
• Available only for non-encrypted categories — sensitive files never leave the device over the network
• No cables, no cloud accounts — works with any browser

BILINGUAL INTERFACE
• Full English and Simplified Chinese interface
• Automatically detects your device language on first launch
• Switch languages anytime in Settings — on-disk folder names stay stable across languages

BUILT FOR IPHONE & IPAD
• Native SwiftUI, iOS 17+
• No third-party frameworks in your data path
• Small, unobtrusive banner ad at the bottom of the Home screen; no ads inside your card content
