Personal Eyes helps blind and low-vision users understand what’s in front of them using the iPhone camera and on-device AI.

Open the app and the camera turns on. A live object box and spoken direction cues (Left, Right, Up, Down) help you center a subject. Tap the shutter or turn on auto-capture and Personal Eyes describes what the photo shows: people, objects, animals, or the scene. Useful readable text (signs, labels, prices) is mentioned only when it’s actually there.
