## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-01

Fixes app intro skipping and auto hide functionality

### 2.0.0 — 2026-06-19

This release is a big one — cleaner, faster, and smarter across the board.

  iPad Layout
Personal Library now feels at home on iPad. The interface has been redesigned to take full advantage of the larger screen, with a split layout that lets you browse and read details side by side. No more stretched phone UI — everything has its place.

  New Theme
A refreshed visual design brings better contrast, more consistent spacing, and a look that feels polished on every screen size. Light mode, dark mode — both got attention.

  Google Search Integration
Optionally connect Google Search to power smarter book discovery. When scanning or searching by ISBN, the app can now pull richer metadata, better cover images, and more accurate details for books that other sources miss — including Romanian titles.

  Stability & Bug Fixes
A significant round of fixes under the hood:
  - Modal dismissal no longer triggers double-actions on fast taps
  - Author deduplication when scanning multiple books at once
  - Shelf selector and book editor now behave correctly after dismissal
  - Login flow on web builds works reliably with Google Sign-In
  - Various crashes and edge cases resolved throughout the app

Whether you're cataloguing a few books or an entire home library, this version is the most reliable Personal Library yet. As always, thank you for your support and feedback.
