## What is Perstat?

Uptime, belegt. Entwickelt und betrieben in der EU, in Deutschland.

Perstat überwacht Websites, APIs und Server rund um die Uhr und sagt Bescheid, sobald etwas nicht mehr läuft. Gemessen wird von sechs Kontinenten aus, damit ein zickiges Netz irgendwo dich nicht um drei Uhr morgens weckt.

Deine Daten bleiben dabei in der EU: Entwicklung, Betrieb und Speicherung liegen in Deutschland, nicht bei einem Anbieter jenseits des Atlantiks.

KEIN FALSCHER ALARM Eine Region gilt erst als ausgefallen, wenn ihre Messpunkte sich einig sind. Du legst fest, wie viele Regionen wie viele Prüfungen in Folge bestätigen müssen, bevor ein Alarm rausgeht oder Entwarnung kommt. Abhängige Monitore bleiben still, wenn die Ursache weiter oben liegt: Eine ausgefallene Datenbank wird so nicht zu fünfzehn Benachrichtigungen.

BEREITSCHAFT, RICHTIG GEMACHT Dienstpläne mit echter Eskalation: erst Push, dann SMS, dann ein Anruf, wenn niemand abnimmt. Wer einen Alarm annimmt, übernimmt ihn sichtbar für das ganze Team. Kritische Alarme kommen auch durch, wenn das Telefon stumm ist.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-21

The incident display reaches your wrist, your car and your ear.

NEW
• Live Activity on Apple Watch and the CarPlay dashboard. If you are on call, you see the open incident where you actually look at night: on your wrist. With the service name and how long it has been running, not just a number.
• StandBy: when the phone lies on its side on the charger, the incident display fills the screen. Colour signal, service and duration are readable from across the room, without touching the device.
• Acknowledge by voice: "Acknowledge the incident in Perstat". If you are woken at night with the earbuds still in, the one action that matters no longer depends on finding and unlocking a device. With more than one incident open, Siri asks which one, and it tells you whether it worked.
• One cockpit per organization, each with its own tile board. If you look after several organizations, you can set each one up the way its operation needs.
• Alert channels per recipient, not just per stage. One stage can call one person and push to another, without everybody's phone ringing.
• On-call is now visible. It used to live in a long press on the organization row, which meant the question "who gets called tonight" was the only hidden thing in the whole flow.

BETTER
• A glossary of three words, used the same way everywhere: an incident is the event, an outage is the state of a service, an alert is the delivery to a human.
• Every state now carries a shape alongside its colour. If you cannot tell red from green, you read the shape; if you can, you read both.
• The count of open incidents in the Dynamic Island can no longer outgrow its space, not at three digits and not in landscape.
• Touch targets under your thumb instead of at the edge, and raw machine values are gone from the lists.
• Contrast that holds up at night.

FIXED
• The incident display now keeps following the situation when the app is closed. It was started remotely but never updated afterwards, so it could show an outage that had long since ended.
• The incident display now also survives an app restart.
• Two sliders in the on-call settings that were stored but never read. They promised a repeat that did not exist.
• In the cockpit, the title sat underneath the toolbar instead of beside it.

• Team-Chat: Absprache im Vorfall, ohne die App zu verlassen. Direktnachrichten, Projekt-Kanäle und ein eigener Kanal je Vorfall. Auf dem iPad bleibt das Gespräch als angedocktes Fenster offen, während Sie im Cockpit weiterarbeiten; auf dem iPhone öffnet es das Symbol oben in der Leiste.
• Eskalationskette als Zeitachse: Wer nach wie vielen Minuten geweckt wird, mehrere Empfänger je Stufe, und Endpunkte wie Slack, Teams, PagerDuty oder Opsgenie als Ziel einer Stufe.
• Ein stiller Host sieht jetzt still aus, nicht gesund. Meldet ein Agent oder ein Heartbeat länger als fünf Minuten nichts, steht dort „Keine Daten" statt eines grünen Hakens. Grau, nicht rot: fehlendes Wissen ist kein gemessener Ausfall. Auch auf der Uhr.
• Post-mortem-Versionen mit Blick hinein, bevor Sie eine ältere Fassung zurückholen.

BEHOBEN
• Dienstplan, Konto und Empfängerauswahl zeigten E-Mail-Adressen, umgebrochen mitten in der Domain. Jetzt stehen dort Namen.
• Das Cockpit meldete „Keine Vorfälle im Zeitraum" mit grünem Siegel, während ein Vorfall offen war. Jetzt nennt es dieselbe Zahl wie die Marke am Reiter.
• Zwei stille Monitore waren in der Bilanz unsichtbar. Sie werden gezählt, benannt und im Balken gezeigt.
• Der Prüfknopf im Monitor verdeckte genau die Messwerte, wegen derer man den Bildschirm öffnet. Er sitzt jetzt in der Werkzeugleiste.
• Knöpfe und Verweise waren auf dunklem Grund zu dunkel zum Lesen.
• Auf dem iPad war der Alarmbildschirm ein hochskaliertes Telefon, und die Startansicht begrüßte mit zwei leeren Spalten.
• Der Quorum-Hinweis las sich als „6 von 2 Regionen down". Der zweite Wert ist die Schwelle, nicht die Gesamtzahl.

A silent host now looks silent, not healthy.

• New: when a host agent or heartbeat has been quiet for more than five minutes, it reads "No data" instead of a green tick. Grey, not red: missing knowledge is not a measured outage. On the watch too.
• New: post-mortem versions, with a look inside before you restore an older one.
• Fixed: on iPad the alarm screen was an upscaled phone, and the home view greeted you with two empty columns.
• Fixed: the quorum line read "6 of 2 regions down". The second number is the threshold, not the total.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-09

Mit Apple anmelden funktioniert wieder: registrieren, anmelden und die Apple-ID mit einem bestehenden Konto verknüpfen.

Nach der Registrierung geht es direkt mit der Einrichtung weiter, statt in einem leeren Cockpit zu landen.

Ein Absturz beim Öffnen des Tarif-Hinweises ist behoben.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-07

Registrierung, Kontoaktivierung und das Zurücksetzen des Passworts laufen direkt in der App, ohne Umweg über einen getrennten Identitätsdienst.

Ausserdem: Tarif und Erweiterung lassen sich in der App einsehen und ändern. Dazu mehrere kleinere Korrekturen im Hintergrund.
