Seems to be an arcane, manual process for each step with people that do one thing per account request a day and then ask for the next piece of info. Or maybe this is because the price of gold dropped so much and they are reluctant to activate new accounts until the price goes up? Regardless, many emails and info requests and still nothing. They should take some coaching from other companies like Coinbase to see how things should be done with automatic online linking of bank account and no fee transfers of money then purchases almost immediately. I’m wondering if they use pencil and paper on clipboards and inter office mail carts to communicate internally. Kind regards, The Perth Mint. ### 3/5 — Lots of fees to use *2020-09-26, version 3.4* I like the concept but there is a lot of work to be done here. The cheapest option to transfer money in is ACH, if your bank offers it, if not, there is a $30 fee to wire money to GoldPass. My bank charges $3 to ACH transfer money to GoldPass so if you are thinking of dollar cost averaging you need to take this fee into account. Once you get your money to GoldPass (3 business days), there are fees to purchase and sell gold certificates. Finally when you withdraw money from GoldPass, you have to go through a complex authentication process where you send “Gold Corporation (GoldPass)” your recent monthly bank statement so they can review your transactions and determine if your receiving bank account is legitimate (takes about 1 week). I tried a withdrawal to see how it worked, it took 3 days, and my bank charged me a $15 wire transfer fee to receive the withdrawal. That is a lot of fees! Unfortunately the fees make this product in its current form unattractive as an investment vehicle. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of associated fees as charged by banks to complete the various transfer options, unfortunately such charges are outside our control as these are set by the banking institutions. You will notice a slight time lag in withdrawing funds as the operations team here in Australia need to approve the payments via JP Morgan. We typically remit funds via wire method as this is the most timely and based on customer feedback the preferred option.
