Just goes back to the log in screen ### 2/5 — The Media Player is TERRIBLE! *2026-05-17, version 2.16.0* The media player (whether video or just audio, streamed or downloaded) is so bad. It doesn’t remember where you left off so it restarts you at the beginning. It closes down if you pause it for more than a minute, so if you pause it you better memorize your timestamp in the presentation. Sometimes it just won’t play the media, even after restarting the app. Every time you have to access your material, you start from the very first page. This requires you to paw through several menus and any class you’ve ever purchased to get to the one you were listening/watching. Then you have to find the segment of the lecture you were consuming, and finally recall what the timestamps was left at 65 seconds after you paused it. Terrible user experience, PESI needs to put some effort into making this a worth while app. It gets 2 stars instead of one from me, because I’m glad they made an app at all. It’s a bump up from having to do all this on the website. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-05-08, version 2.15.4* The app worked for a while. Then it completely stopped and now it won’t even let me sign in. That’s frustrating because there are a number of webinars I was gearing up to watch. There are some I purchased and can’t get to because of this as well. ### 2/5 — Glitchy - PESI Canada *2026-04-07, version 2.15.3* The app glitches and refuses to load PESI Canada. You have to open PESI Canada in your phone browser, and then use the training video links through there open up the same training in the app. Otherwise, you cannot open your trainings at all. ### 2/5 — Works sometimes *2026-03-02, version 2.15.2* App only work sometimes. ### 2/5 — Glitchy and inconvenient *2026-02-23, version 2.14.25* I like that it has the course content and can remember where you left off, but the app freezes and glitches if you have to switch apps for any reason. It would be much better if it could play in the background with other apps functioning. Also it will regularly leave the video you are watching and you have to go back and find the training and press play again. Also would be nice if it allowed speeds faster than 1.2. There are certainly trainings that could be done at 1.5-2.0 speed and I would be more interested in them that way. PESI has great content but this app is lacking. ### 2/5 — App is unusable *2026-02-04, version 2.14.25* You cannot switch to another app to take notes or else the app resets, and the downloaded content just stops playing altogether at some point despite being downloaded. This app has serious issues and needs an update. ### 3/5 — Latest IOS update broke the app *2026-01-30, version 2.14.25* I was watching a training this morning, updated my IOS, tried to watch more training and nothing works or even loads. I get a JSON error. App was “OK” before that. ### 3/5 — Great content but app needs work *2026-01-21, version 2.14.25* Very frustrating app. Examples: I download a module to watch offline but the app will not play the video offline. When streaming, the app frequently gets stuck if I pause, or scrub forward or backwards and I have to reload the module. If these could be fixed I’d rate it 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Download Issues *2026-01-05, version 2.14.25* The download feature does not work - all downloaded videos and audio will not load or play after the app has been opened and closed a couple of times. In addition, the downloaded file does not save your spot (when it works the first couple of times). ### 2/5 — Possibly some of the worst software I’ve ever encountered *2025-11-29, version 2.14.25* This app is so limited in it’s function that it’s practically useless for anything other than using your i-device as a monitor for the trainings and it’s barely any good at that. There’s no option for split screen use so you can’t take notes on your iPad at the same time as you’re trying to learn. There’s no Picture in Picture so you can do the same or research something being discussed like a recommended book or website. The app itself only functions in portrait mode until you start a video making an iPad app completely disfunctional, because even when you start the video it always starts in portrait and mini. It has to be forced into full-screen mode to start working in landscape. I’ve had the download option erase the content by itself multiple times. You can’t search or purchase trainings from the app. The fact that I need it because PESI is one of the largest training providers makes me angry every time I open it. I’d rather it be a paid app and be good than free and feel like it’s actually hindering my learning as much as it’s helping. ### 2/5 — This app is just so subpar *2025-10-27, version 2.14.25* 10/25/25 Update: You still can't search the PESI REHAB App using its search function. Crazy. No results when using the exact product code number or the exact name of the course in the mailing we receive. Freaking ridiculous. Done looking at PESI for any of our academic/CEU needs. You can't search the app for a specific course you're looking for. You received the PESI newsletter in the mail. You want to sign up for a course on this app and you just can't find it using the exact language from the newsletter. Brutal. It's it is supposedly "updated" it's still horrible to load your video to pick up where you left off. This experience of spending your money and accessing your product should just be so much smoother. ### 2/5 — App is mess, has some solid content *2025-10-11, version 2.14.25* I spend more time trying to figure out where I was in the course than listening to the course - it shuts down the app any time you task switch, even if you’re just listening to the audio. It would be nice if it would remember where you were in the course and to be able to go straight to any downloaded content and just pick back up and go. It’s just not user friendly, unfortunately. It will not stay open and running in the background. I would like to be able to watch the videos on the background while I’m taking notes. I would like to be able to switch between apps without the course closing on me, and I would like to download content with no issues. Other than that content is spectacular. ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps I need in my life *2025-07-16* This app needs a serious update and looks like it was last updated near the beginning of the first iteration of the App Store. Videos don’t work in auto rotate without restarting, there’s no picture in picture mode nor can it work in the last couple of iOS update updates allow allowing for side-by-side so there’s no way to take notes on any of the lectures. Worse recently, it seems that all downloading of off-line use is nonfunctioning making training while traveling impossible. Did something happen to the app?! It was working perfect last week. ### 1/5 — Same problems every year *2026-06-09, version 2.16.2* The app is terrible. The trainings are fine. Basically the video cannot be run in the background. If you download the audio, it restarts every time you leave the recording. And then twice a week or so, the download displays an error and will not play at all. If you want to download it again, you have to uninstall and reinstall the app entirely. That’s what I’m doing here today. It wouldn’t be such a bother (maybe) except these are the exact problems I was told by customer service last year they were both aware of and working on. Currently I can’t even get it to open. It just has my email address I hit continue and I can’t even get into my account so that’s why I’ve given it a one star I’d love to fix that. I didn’t bring it back because I really enjoyed the way.
