I’ve had this for several months now I like it’s convenient. It’s weighted top but every time I log into the app after a couple of weeks, it disappears when I click on it. It makes me set up everything again after a few weeks of not logging in.

I was excited about the Smart Cat Toilet C1 by Pet Marvel, hoping it would simplify litter box maintenance. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently frustrating due to a major flaw in its "smart" technology.

The primary issue is that the device is almost always stuck in "pause" mode. This feature is meant to activate when it detects a cat nearby, but it constantly registers a cat's presence even when there is absolutely nothing in sight. This false detection makes the automatic cleaning cycle useless, as the toilet remains paused indefinitely. I'm left having to manually reset it, which completely defeats the purpose of an automated system.

While the concept is great, the unreliable sensor makes the Smart Cat Toilet C1 more of a hassle than a help. Until Pet Marvel can fix this fundamental flaw in the detection system, I cannot recommend this product. It’s a promising idea with poor execution.

購買的時候就知道容易斷線，重新設定設備這個我能接受。

但有一天社區網路斷線後，要重連，卻發現家裡wifi無法開啟app，改用手機3g網路就可以…搞了一整天，連網路客服都問了。後來設備客服 建議連另一隻手機熱點去設定…還真的可以…但是熱點一斷電，設備就都離線了，雖然還是可以自動投食，但真的很奧塞

The hardware for the pet marvel 2-in-1 is actually pretty good, but the software in both the app and the firmware are in need of lots of work.  The AI recognition is barely functional, you can’t seem to correct wrong identifications (and if you can, it’s unclear how presumably due to translation issues).  There’s also no per-pet tracking of water or food intake, so all the meals come out at once and it is basically a race between the animals when I was hoping it would see a pet and dispense the meal they are supposed to be getting.

Taking your pet’s picture for the AI recognition is also nearly impossible. Ever tried to get a cat to sit perfectly still so you could take a head-on photo of their face within a wireframe?  Come on. We all know AI is capable of being trained on multiple images, and even simple hardware is capable of running some of the smaller open source models nowadays.

My suggestion is to open source the firmware and the app and let the community do what they do best; improve the software to make what is a pretty good piece of hardware into a must-have for multi-cat households.
