## What is Pet Memorial & Slideshows?

A private place for every pet you've ever loved.

Pet Memorial is a beautifully simple iPhone and iPad app for honouring the
companions who shaped your life - the ones still curled at your feet, and
the ones now resting at the rainbow bridge.

— A KEEPSAKE FOR EVERY PET —

Add as many pets as your heart holds. Cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, fish,
reptiles, birds — every species, every story. Each pet gets their own
beautiful profile with their photo, name, the dates that mattered most,
and the place they call home.

— THE DATES THAT MATTERED —

• Date of birth — the day they came into the world
• Gotcha day — the day they came home to you
• Rainbow bridge — for the ones we've had to say goodbye to
• Their age, beautifully calculated — and, gently, what their age
  would be today

— PHOTOS & VIDEOS, KEPT TOGETHER —

Add photos and videos for every pet. Group them into albums
("First Year", "Walks at the Park", "Christmas Together"), add captions,
and watch the memories grow into something you can hold onto forever.

— BEAUTIFUL MEMORIAL SLIDESHOWS —

Press play and the camera roll becomes a tribute. Cinematic Ken Burns
animations, gentle cross-fades, your captions floating across the screen,
and a piece of music that means something to you.

• Use our included memorial music
• Or pick any song from your Apple Music library

Cast the slideshow to your Apple TV via AirPlay for a full-screen tribute
the whole family can share.

— GENTLE REMINDERS —

Quiet notifications on the days that matter — a birthday, a gotcha day,
the anniversary of saying goodbye. You choose what you want to remember,
and how often. Nothing pushy. Just a soft reminder to take a moment.

— A RESTING PLACE ON THE MAP —

For pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge, you can mark where they
rest — a corner of the garden, a special tree, a pet cemetery — so you
always know how to find them.

— PRIVATE BY DESIGN —

Your memories are yours. Pet Memorial syncs privately to your own iCloud
account so they're safe across your iPhone and iPad — and never seen by
anyone else. No accounts. No social feeds. No advertising. No data
collection.

— SHARE WITH THE FAMILY —

Export a pet's profile as a .petmemorial keepsake file you can share with
family — a partner, a child, a parent — so everyone can hold the same
memories.

— FREE TO START —

Your first pet is free, forever. That includes their profile, all the
dates that mattered, a resting place on the map, 10 photos or videos,
one album, one reminder, and full slideshows with music and AirPlay.
Nothing expires, and nothing is ever taken away.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-19

Share their story.

You can now export a memorial as a video. It opens with a title card carrying their name, their photo, and their dates, moves through your memories in the order you arranged them, and plays gently in the background. Save it to your Photos, send it to family who loved them too, or simply keep it somewhere safe.

Also in this update:

• The slideshow and the exported video now always include the same memories
• Names ending in "s" read properly throughout - "Boots' Birthday", not "Boots's Birthday"

Thank you for trusting us with their memory.
