I posted a bunch of photos, and shared the link with my friends.The only problem is that when people have to choose between my dog and another one, the screen gets frozen. But on the Pet Parade app I can’t even see how many votes he has, I have to keep the page on Safari to see the votes. Otherwise Pet Parade is a great app and I highly recommend it, I just hope you guys see this. ### 4/5 — Really hard to win gift cards *2025-01-07, version 2.1.29* I love posting pictures of my cat Theodore on compitions but it is so hard to win any tickets. I have been playing for a month now and I only have about 200 tickets (for $5 it costs 3,000 tickets and for $10 it costs 5,000 tickets). ### 2/5 — Miss the way this app used to be :( *2024-06-30, version 2.1.25* A few years ago I would’ve given this app 6 stars if I could. It was the absolute BEST!!!! Now it’s barely worth playing sadly. The ticket price for the gift card prizes has more than doubled, and they went from having 5 $ amount options to now only having two. They also used to have options to redeem tickets for items/physical prizes, and were great options that didn’t cost many tickets. The value of it was great, and a fun way to get stuff for my dog! Now the only prizes available are the small $5 or $10 gift cards, that cost 3-5x more than what some of the nicer physical prizes used to cost. Would love if they could get some pet brands to sponsor again and offer cheaper pet items as prizes in exchange for the advertisement. Otherwise, will probably stop playing soon. I get stuff changes but to have it go so DRASTICALLY downhill really stinks ### 2/5 — Doubled the ticket amount for prizes *2024-03-11, version 2.1.25* It’s really discouraging when you’ve been using this app for years to see that the cost in tickets for the same prize you’ve been getting (it’s only a 10 dollar gift card) has now doubled in the amount of tickets you need to get. It doesn’t make the app worth using at this point anymore. It becomes harder to do everything the longer you use it. It’s harder to get keys and now apparently they want to move the goal post for prizes too. ### 3/5 — This Used To Be So Great *2024-02-29, version 2.1.25* This was a 5-Star when I first started using it. You had three gift card amount choices now only two. Those have gone up twice. The cost is getting ridiculous it takes me forever to get to the $10 fift card I thought surelynI am near The 2500 now. Apparently my email was not accepting emails from the ticket request inbox. Problem has been resolved. Hopefully, something like this doesn’t happen again. It has been 2 weeks, 5 help requests, 1500 tickets and 0 customer service since redeeming my tickets for an Amazon gift card. After redeeming my tickets, and checking my email and junk folder for the gift card multiple times a day, I emailed customer service for assistance to find out where the gift card is. I received an automatic reply to confirm receipt of the email. I waited 3 more days for their reply. Still nothing. I sent another help request 3 days later. No response. I sent another help request. Waited. No responsr. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this company. I will continue to check my email and junk folder for email from Pet Parade or Good Boy Studios for one more week. If pet parade does not resolve the issue, a government office, a consumer organization, or the legal system will be contacted and a complaint filed. ### 4/5 — Just found this app! *2024-02-13, version 2.1.25* Stumbled across this app in the Apple App Store and so far it’s a lot of fun! Anyways then I got my gift card the other day last Wednesday today is Tuesday when I got it it says your gift card will be to you in 2 days I’m assuming that means business days so last Friday is when 2 business days was I didn’t get it I didn’t expect to get it over the weekend so today Tuesday I still haven’t got it ! I reach out to them via email no response! Until my little pug went against their first Pit bull a couple days ago I remember like it was yesterday an ugly brown pit bull with fur on only half of its body. I thought my beautiful pug puppy is going to beat him for sure. I checked back on the match 5 minutes later to see my pup losing 6-2. I wanted to see the pets who voted for the other dog and they were all people with cats and other pit bulls, but when I saw the two people who voted me I saw it was my friend and some person with a Frenchie. I think this is extremely unfair and rude, I’m not a sore loser though and would have been fine with it until yesterday something happened to me where I felt writing this was a thing on the top of my list. I went against a hairless cat and my pug sunflower got 1 point while the hairless cat got 14 and surprise surprise all the people who voted for that cat were people with pit bull and other cat owners. I have also found that people just vote random people to get coins, UNFAIR. I will be deleting this game and not reinstalling EVER. From, Former Pet Parade player. ### 1/5 — Cat and Pitbull Owners Ganging Up Together *2022-08-03, version 2.1.23* Pet Parade would be fair but it’s extremely biased. I’ve noticed that whenever my puppy goes against a cat or a Pitbull, no matter if they’re cute enough or not, my puppy always loses. This is due to the fact that all cat owners and Pitbull owners vote for each other regularly and don’t even care if the voting process is fair. It’s called a cuteness competition not a what would you prefer competition. In addition, people don’t even try when they vote and my puppy has lost countless times to not cuter pets or pets that don’t even show their face. If a tournament is about a Healthy Pet, you shouldn’t pick the pet that doesn’t look healthy, period. And this has happened multiple times on numerous occasions. My friend has also faced the same or similar problems when it comes to being fair in the voting process. If the voting process wasn’t as biased against dogs as it is now, maybe I would give Pet Parade a chance. But this deeply troubles me and I don’t see a point in attempting these competitions if I already know the outcome. ### 1/5 — Receipt option no longer available *2022-05-01, version 2.1.22* I really loved this app up until recently when they suddenly took away the option to upload receipts as a way to redeem points. Really disappointing and don’t care for it now ### 1/5 — Game is a rip off *2021-07-14, version 2.1.8* I’ve enjoyed playing game, but have never received a prize that my cat won in one of the premiere contests. When I contacted help I’m told I used the card. The e-gift card that was sent never had a balance on it. I called the store for a transaction history and was told there was never money out on the card. When I talked to pet parade multiple times they tell me I used the card even though the store says it never had the $10 put on the card the only transaction showing is for $0(zero) where I tried to use the card. I also used the tickets(5000) that I earned to buy cat treats and those were never sent. I love it very much, and I think it’s a very good way to keep and maintain the legacy of your animals in an archive, while having fun doing so. Yet I believe that this app could use some major updates. 1. Manual deletion/privatization of pets The app needs to allow users to delete/privatize pets whenever they want to. Deleting or privatizing your pets profiles whenever they may not be your animals anymore, or you don’t want them to get awards/be in competition anymore would be a great update. In the three dots in the corner, you can even add a “Make Profile Private” option, which would be even better. This would make the accounts no longer be able to enter into competitions, unless the account is to be un-privatized. 2. Addition of extra hashtags/better prizes While I do believe that the hashtags the game offers are already abundant in variety, and while I do find the gifts that you can enter into competitions for good, I think that there needs to be more variety. The prices don’t have to change for the gift cards, we just need what type of gift card to change, instead of only Amazon gift cards. For example, I bet someone would love a Starbucks or Texas Roadhouse gift card, things your already offer in the shop already. For hashtags, you could do more than just “#cute” or “#trippin”, et cetera. You could add hashtags, such as “#scary”, where the animal may be a bit scary, or in a Halloween costume. 3. Manual choosing of what animals you want to be in the “cuteness challenges”. I do not want to spin a wheel for a while, trying to find a good photo of my animal. I want to manually handpick the photo I enter. These are all of the problems I have with the game. Despite these issues, I still love the game very much.
