It seems every couple of months it starts glitching and doesn’t show any of my reservations. It’ll say that I “don’t currently have any reservations” even though I know I have several upcoming reservations that I have email confirmations for. When I’ve called the main number to report the issue, I was told to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and to try using Google Chrome in our home computer to see if reservations would show. Neither worked and it still told me I didn’t have any reservations. The last time this happened a couple of months ago, it took several WEEKS for it to be fixed. I don’t understand why this continues to be an issue and why it takes WEEKS to fix when it does. Please find a permanent fix for this issue as it’s super frustrating having to call our local Pet Paradise to make sure all of my reservations are there each time it happens. ### 2/5 — Horrible App and website *2025-01-23* Horrible app and website. I was a new customer with 2 dogs requiring grooming and occasional boarding. I had difficulty creating an account. I downloaded the app and then it got stuck just spinning when trying to maneuver through it. Unable to make an appointment it appeared all appointment times were filled even though I requested three months out. I couldn’t tell if you were busy or your calendar wasn’t working. Unfortunately, you lost a customer due to the frustration of trying to book online. You don’t make it that easy. ### 2/5 — Crashes way too often *2023-07-29* This app crashes often - when I try to update a pet’s profile or when I am simply making a reservation, it just completely crashes and I lose all of the information that was entered. Not a good user experience. ### 2/5 — Not able to login *2022-11-30* I already have an account with pet paradise. I can login on the website. But this app will not let me login. Keeps saying wrong password. I hv change my password 2x’s and still can’t login. Unfortunately this app is useless for me. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear of you issues. Please feel free to call us for assistance. ### 3/5 — App is ok *2022-05-20* I was able to make the reservation easy enough but the Home Screen of the app doesn’t allow you to scroll down and you can only see half the message to make a reservation. I wish I could show a screenshot because it doesn’t seem to work properly. There is also no ability to see the webcams either. It’s just a basic reservation app. I will say it is easier to make a reservation than the website. We would be happy to assist if you can call our team by dialing 877 PETS PLAY. ### 3/5 — Great for reservations but that’s it *2022-04-27* I have been waiting for PP to create an app and so glad they finally did! This is more convenient for making reservations compared to using the website on your phone’s internet browser. Unfortunately it doesn’t have all the features of the website. If all you need to do is make, view or cancel a reservation then this app is great. You cannot view your pet’s profile, upload medical records, view webcams, or see remaining days on a day camp pass. Our dogs frequent PP so it would be great to have all these features in the app. Also, it’s very frustrating that you have to log in every time you open the app and you have to manually type your login information because it doesn’t save anything or have Face ID capability. This kind of defeats the purpose of an app. Overall, the app is fine for reservations but I’m hoping that additional features will be added so it functions like the website. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our app. Additional features including your pets' profile, vaccination records, webcams and loyalty program information will all be coming online in future releases. We look forward to providing an even better experience in the future. ### 2/5 — Glitch *2022-04-17, version 1.0.0* Loved the idea of this app because I take my dogs here for their grooming days but you can’t even log in because of the glitches. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Never find appointment date *2024-10-02* Since they just opened up this place right down the street, I have tried making appointments and there are never any available and nobody answers the phone after you get to customer service. ### 1/5 — Military Discount *2024-07-16, version 3.5.4* We have filled out the military 20% discount form multiple times and cannot get the discount to show up on our APP. The local Pet Paradise in New Mexico shows we have the military discount but it hasn’t updated to the APP. ### 1/5 — Awful app *2024-05-30, version 3.5.2* I have to reset my password every single time I login. Very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2024-01-23* Every single time I try to login it says my password is wrong. I reset the password and it still says it’s wrong. Even on the website, I have to reset my password each time. Terrible! ### 1/5 — Worse than dog crap *2022-12-17* The only thing this app is good for is cameras. The staff never answer the phones or call you back because they’re pushing everyone to use the app, but when i try to book reservations they never work. The comments section for your pet always glitches so i can’t type I have to voice to text (which i don’t like doing). I strongly believe they need to improve their customer service and office communications in every location instead of relying on an app that barely works. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We hope you will give it another try. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-08-03* Half the time it won’t open, the times it does open it either freezes up or just flashes and shuts down. I’m not sure why it’s been released since it seems to be full of glitches. Seems like a sales prevention tool. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly!! *2022-07-22, version 1.1.0* Have been trying to reset my password for a month and the link does not work! I called the 1 877 pets play number and they said they have nothing to do with the app and can’t fix. **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear this! Our call center team has undergone extensive training to be able to support customers with app concerns. ### 1/5 — Confirms Bookings when they are Not! *2022-07-10, version 1.1.0* Terrible booking platform. Confirms bookings days before the stay to only find out the day before or day of they are completely booked. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-05-30, version 1.1.0* The app will not go past the login. No matter what I do. Deleted and redownloaded 3 times and nothing. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2022-05-17, version 1.1.0* After logging in I can’t do see my current reservation or see my dog report card or see my dog on the web cam, it just keeps asking me for upcoming reservation. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good app *2025-05-24* Pertaining to the app, it has improved greatly and is very good. That being said there are a couple of improvements I’d like to see. First, the developer should adjust the viewing of the cameras so the full camera angle shows up on the app. If you look at the cameras on the website with a tablet or computer, you can see more yard or pool than what the app shows. Next, if they can figure out a way for the phone reservations to show up in your app portal that would be great. Pet Paradise is pretty awesome and the people there are very busy taking care of the pets, for someone to trash the business in a review for not answering the phone is ridiculous . Maybe they should take their pet to Camp BowWow where they can get out of the yard and get lost all the time. PP has been nothing but good to us, I only wish there was another one closer to us on the Westbank. ### 5/5 — Super Handy *2023-04-22* Such a quick and easy way to get everything you need without the hassle of the website being laggy!
