I please ask you to understand that in order to make the distance filtering work 100% of the time it would be an expensive cost for me. I developed this app with the best intentions and do not monetize on it via advertisements or in any way. I am considering alternative ways to handle the distance filtering in the app but whatever method chosen will cost me. Do you like the app other than the issue you have experienced with the distance filtering? Please let me know, I appreciate your feedback. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-02-16* Downloaded the app and started a search. The breeds won’t load, but all the other categories worked fine. No matter criteria I put in or distance I entered, it kept telling me there were no dogs. So either this app is broken or they are out of dogs to post. Given the state of nationwide animal shelters’ occupancy, I’m guessing it’s broken. ### 1/5 — Gets stuck on ‘Loading breeds’ *2026-01-28* Didn’t get any results for dogs in a 100 mile radius and I’m in the Los Angeles area. Useless ### 1/5 — No results *2026-01-04* I guess this app must be dead because I tried six different zip codes in four different states with unlimited mile radius and no results for any ### 1/5 — Not showing any dogs *2025-12-27* Searching with only my location to see all dogs and it’s not showing any dogs at all ### 1/5 — Will not accept pet type of "other" *2024-02-07* As a bird rescuer I attempted to load a pet for adoption, but kept getting a message asking me to please add the adoption fee, location and pet type. As a bird is not a dog or cat, I selected Other type. It still then wants me to select a breed, from a long list of cat and dog breeds. No option to select bird etc. I selected other, but it wont let me save it and keeps giving me the same error. As I have entered all the other fields I am assuming it is doing this because I selected "other" pet type. The developer needs to either fix this, or promote it as for rehoming cats and dogs only. Had also hoped there might be an adoption form feature which I could not find, on my admittedly short test of the software. It is no use to me as I cannot save any birds for adoption. ### 1/5 — Rubbish! *2023-07-18, version 2.2.0* Doesn’t work at all…. Probably because there are no pet ads to show because the app is unusable to even post one.
