It has the same 6 or 7 sounds, and just repeats them. None of them are whimpers, or other sounds, they’re all just barks. Even the sad emote, it’s an energetic bark. If you have a dog that speaks through any sound except barks, I wouldn’t recommend this app. The only time my dog barks is when he hears another dog barking. I tried to do “let’s play”, but my dog just ran out of the house trying to bark at a non-existent dog. Different dogs have different ways of speaking, and this app might work on other dogs, which is why I didn’t give it 1 or 2 stars. Also the translator where you get to talk into it costs money. I get that they have to keep the app afloat, but it’s basically the same exact bark no matter what you say. It really isn’t worth the money. If it were more accurate, I would’ve given it 4 or 5 stars. Please be aware of this before downloading.
