It should simply apply canceling the feeding that was blocked. Instead, it keeps trying to dispense and never stops unless you manually move the food. Please fix it! ### 1/5 — False Sense of Security *2025-09-16, version 1.1.5* The device says it will give you push notifications when the feeder is running low and then when it runs out of food. No matter how many times you update the app, this is apparently NEVER fixed. Our feeder is in the basement. Turns out my cat has been without food for a week! I thought our old cat wasn’t responding well to the new baby and was mad at me for leaving for a few days, turns out she has been starving! However, I wanted to suggest a potential improvement: a Vacation Mode feature. It would be incredibly helpful to have a feature where I can pre-schedule a temporary pause in feeding while I’m away. This way, I wouldn’t need to remember to turn off the schedule on the day my dog is already fed. It would allow for easier planning in advance when going on vacation or trips, eliminating one last thing to worry about. Thank you for considering this suggestion! Two of my cats are pretty food crazy and even after attempting the train them for weeks, they still don’t go to the correct bowl, as I have some on specific diets for weight loss. What I typically have to do is feed them individually as fast as possible from the app so that they go to the correct bowls (the food crazy ones). Please add a delay option for feeding, up to 59 seconds. That would allow me to put a five second delay on the second feeder, a 10 second delay on the third feeder, and a 15 second delay on the fourth feeder. Would definitely be 5 stars then. ### 1/5 — Zero support, solid device *2024-04-01, version 1.0.7* Let me start by saying the feeder itself has been exceptionally reliable. I have owned it for a little over two years and I’ve never had an issue with the feeder. The problem is, which is all too common with Chinese products and Chinese apps, the developer never replies to software issues. the biggest problem is you will be signed out every 30 days from the app which means you will get zero notifications from the device, including low food notifications. Let me say that again, if you do not open this app at least once every 30 days, which there’s very little reason to do because the feeder is exceptionally reliable, you will be logged out and you will not receive notifications. I have submitted this repeatedly but the developer never replies. Every single feedback says “to be processed”. It’s a shame that the developer isn’t interested in feedback or issues like this, all they are interested in is shoving advertisements down your throat. I strongly advise you to find a product that does not use this vendor’s app. How this app has a 4.8 rating in the App Store is beyond me, unless the reviews are… well let’s just say there are plenty of other apps with high ratings that don’t deserve them. This falls into that category. ### 1/5 — Not enough feelings *2024-02-10, version 1.0.7* We feed our cat small portions throughout the day. Otherwise she throws up if she eats too much. This is a great idea but it is capped, it says, at 10 total feedings. But we can only get it to do 9. We have programmed feedings at 11am and 3 pm Monday though Thursday but it will only let is do one on Friday and it says it only supports 10 feedings. But it stopped at 9. Wet can’t even get a weekend feeding. Terrible limitation. ### 1/5 — Constantly signed you out which means no notifications *2024-01-01* A few months ago I would’ve given this 5 stars, now I would give it -5 stars if I could. The developers have decided that they are going to log users out without notification which means you get no notifications when there is a lack of food or any other problem with the pet feeder. Because the pet feeder is so reliable, it’s extremely rare that I get a notification so I don’t need to go into the app very frequently but there is no excuse for signing people out and not providing notifications when the food reserves are low. A pet could get seriously ill or die because of this negligence. furthermore, repeated attempts to contact the developer have failed to garner a single response. I strongly recommend you find a pet feeder that does not use this app. ### 1/5 — App routinely fails to notify *2023-10-11, version 1.0.7* App does not notify, I wish they had an option to send an email as well or a text message. I need to go away for a weekend. This started about 3 months ago with the most recent update. I have been feeding my cats manually for three months. There’s nothing to click on. ### 3/5 — Good app but needs fixing *2023-07-15, version 1.0.7* This app as a whole is good, however there are some slight adjustments it needs to make it better. Using an iPhone 14 Pro, when selecting feeding schedule, you can’t tap the arrow to go back to the first page of the schedule where you want to select the time. The arrow button doesn’t work on this device and forces you to close out of the app. I might be doing it wrong however if it does work, it is very difficult. The arrow is still pretty dodgy when viewing the camera and you can’t go back to the feeder selection. Instead you have to use the back gesture swiping from left to right. The on and off sliders for scheduled portions are purely for show as your feeder can be connected to the wifi, app updated, etc. and they will decide for themselves if they want to be off or on however, spoiler alert, it very very rarely chooses to be on. The one star is for the manual feeding feature which does work. If you’re looking for an app that will reliably feed your animals on time, this isn’t it. But now I can monitor my food levels with my new camera and if he needs food, I can use the app here to deliver more food. I am still working out how much to put out at what time (so it automatically dispenses for me), but this app has been wonderful! We don’t have our hm girl anymore which is beyond heartbreaking but we still have our Scoots and she loves a dry feeding so with the wi-fi pet feeder, it has allowed us to travel a bit more without the guilt. We set up our Arlo cameras to watch her and set up multiple feedings and sometimes manual feedings.
