## What is Peter Rabbit French?

Pierre Lapin n'a pas écouté sa mère. And so he slipped under the garden gate, ate far too much of Monsieur MacGregor's vegetables, and found himself in a very great deal of trouble. Beatrix Potter's gentle story, in its French translation as Le Conte de Pierre Lapin, is a warm, charming, and perfectly paced introduction to reading in French.

This bilingual app places the French text directly alongside English, sentence by sentence. Potter's precise descriptive language — the colourful garden plants, Pierre's blue jacket, Monsieur MacGregor's fury — introduces French vocabulary with clarity and grace at A1-A2 level.

With native French audio for every sentence, you can hear the French read aloud as you follow along — connecting written French to spoken French from your very first chapter.
