They have glitches and problems all the time. The feeder get offline constantly. Nit the WiFi problem. Please fix this ASAP. I’m not getting notifications and a few weeks ago it went offline (no notification) and I had the hardest time getting it connected again. When doing manual feed, I now have to wait 5 minutes for the machine to dispense. All we did was update our WiFi credentials, and suddenly there’s a new app that won’t recognize our PLAF203. We've had ongoing issues with it since we purchased it. The "support" team does their best by sending YouTube videos with repetitive step-by-step troubleshooting instructions, but none of it has worked. After spending an entire day on this, we’ve reached the end of our patience and are now forced to await a “supervisor” escalation, which promises contact in 3-5 days.… ### 3/5 — Works great except for the dumb rotation behavior *2025-07-23, version 1.0.6* This app overrides the “rotation lock” at the system level, and automatically switches to landscape mode when my phone is anything but perfectly vertical. It causes unnecessary anxiety. need to be able to make sure my cats are fed and that I can monitor them as needed. ### 2/5 — Notifications?? *2025-07-03* This was a great app but now there are no push notifications. ### 1/5 — My 2 feeders dropped out of app at the same time *2025-06-30* All of a sudden, about 2-3 weeks ago, both of my PLAF203 feeders dropped offline and I have not been able to get them to connect to the App ever since. I need these feeders to monitor my cats and their food while I’m traveling. But, as of now, they are more useful as expensive doorstops. After hours of attempts using different methods of getting the feeders to connect, I’ve come to the conclusion that the problem isn’t with the feeder or the app. The problem lies more with the backend servers which are not allowing the older legacy model feeders to connect to them. There was no warning from the Company that they will no longer support the older models. They seemed to have just simply turned them off. If you are looking for an automatic feeder, I recommend you skip this brand and look into other options. ### 1/5 — Feeder stopped connecting. *2025-06-27, version 1.0.6* After 1.5 years the feeder stopped connecting to the WiFi. All reset methods have failed and the company does not respond to requests for help resolving the issue ### 1/5 — need another update or something *2025-06-26* Had the camera feeder for almost 3 years and when it worked it was great but within the last 3 months it has been disconnecting to the point it won’t connect back at all. We spent all week troubleshooting it to no solution. Also noticed the app hasn’t been updated for over a year which could most be likely the issue as I’m seeing the same reviews over and over again around the same times we’re experiencing our issue. This isn’t a cheap device for it to not work at all. Hopefully to have this fixed asap ### 1/5 — NO Support *2025-06-26, version 1.0.6* For over a year the Petlibro Lite app worked fine with our Petlibro Granary Camera feeder, until about 2 weeks ago. The app no longer recognizes the feeder and can’t connect it via WiFi. Basically making the feeder useless. I would NOT recommend this app and their brand of feeder! Based on the many complaints I’ve seen of others that have the same problem come up recently, it seems this is a widespread problem. Seems to be a shady way for Petlibro to force us to upgrade and purchase their newest model of the Granary feeder. ### 1/5 — Run away from this app and any device it is supposed to work with *2025-06-23, version 1.0.6* Every time I go on vacation I have to f around with this app to get it to pair with the automated feeder. Now it simply won’t connect at all. It keeps saying “feeder offline” and all the steps to connect result in “failed connection” or “bad wifi password” even though the router and password have not changed since last time using the feeder. I wish a reputable brand would make a reliable automated feeder. Petlibro is garbage. ### 2/5 — Worked perfectly for 2 years *2025-06-19* Worked great other than the typical reconnection that needed me to reset the feeder every few weeks and redo my entire schedule. Today I can’t even add my feeder at all , it says device failed to initiate. The app itself had a website diagnosis tool and pinging the API servers returns a timeout error. I’m assuming Petllibro needs to check those servers and fix them asap. I have a feeling as well that the servers are the reason it disconnects your devices in the first place. Now it’s completely useless , check reddit everyone is having the same issue. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2026-08-13* Outrageous that my £130 granary feeder model PLAF203 has not been migrated to their newer app. Now I have to use this and their newer app for their water fountain which is very irritating. Also spent several hours this afternoon looking up possible help on the Internet, but nothing seems to work. Going to try some more tomorrow, but if it doesn’t work, I’ll need to send it back. I finally tried it on my son’s iPad and got it to work. The feeder recently started dispensing way too much food but when I try to log into the app to fix it I can’t log in. The login button remains greyed out no matter what I try. ### 1/5 — Push Notifications No Longer Work *2026-06-25, version 1.0.6* I’ve noticed that the push notifications for the PLAF103 no longer come through. I have factory reset feeder and uninstalled and reinstalled app. I’ve ensured notifications are turned on in the Me section of the app. When I look at the device management screen, notification settings are missing completely. I have gone into Apps > PetLibro Lite and ensured notifications are on and set to priority. Nothing. It’s been this way for months. Never tells me when the feeder is low. Sometimes they will take sometimes they won’t, sometimes they’ll show turned on when you turned it off, etc. I’ve had to change each schedule one at a time. Exit the app come back into the app and double check. Also, Manuel feeds have slowed significantly up to three minutes. When I hit the Manuel feed button it can be minutes before it actually makes the food drop. ### 1/5 — Needs serious fixing *2025-12-04, version 1.0.6* I was just charged for a year-long membership two months ago, probably my third year in a row. All of a sudden in my account does not exist, but yet my feeders still go off. I had to create a brand new account to try and get my subscription to work…. And the subscription was unable to be transferred over. Support was clueless. Now I’m leaving town TONIGHT and my brand new account says every plan is out of stock. How is that even possible????? Though some functions could be clearer in the settings, overall this is easy to use and so far has had few if any problems. The log functionality is really useful in monitoring and the replay function is great for checking if one cat is over feeding. The ability to drop a manual feed at any time is really nice. The one missing feature is an ability to “skip next feed” - if you want to manually feed at a different time to the scheduled one, it would be good to skip a feed rather than the cats over feeding. I like being able to schedule specific feeding times multiple times a day. The only thing I noticed that needs changed is I opted to not put in back up batteries, so the app consistently says “low battery” on the homepage. ### 4/5 — No notification for feeding *2024-09-07* I’m using the Granary Feeder. This app does not have an option to provide an automatic notification that the feeding happened. Instead I have to set a manual notification (basically like a calendar reminder but within this app) to come from the app at the time of feeding and then check the cameras on the feeder to make sure the food was dispensed or check the log of the feeder. Both actions still require me to check the app manually. Really want an app update that could just notify of a successful scheduled feeding automatically, with no need to open the app the check, especially when I’m not home to hear or see in person that the food was dispensed. Otherwise a really great upgrade from my last feeder. My cats aren’t able to get their paws inside the food shoot to grab the waiting food. I now have a camera to see them eating. And the overall design is much more pleasing to look at with a smaller food print too.
