First, I cannot add my pet,or My vet, nor pet meds nor does it show my orders.. the frames are there to fill in but then it goes no where or just keeps loading which it never does. Viewing payment methods traps you in an endless loop you can’t exit. It throws errors left and right. I’m not sure I’ve ever encountered an app from a major company with so many issues… it’s literally unusable. ### 1/5 — Riddled with bugs *2024-10-09, version 2.15.3* Hasn’t been updated in over a year and it shows. It allowed me to add a quantity of 6 of dog food to the cart, but wouldn’t allow me to add my Amex CC because it wasn’t allowing more than 3 digits for the verification number. So I setup PayPal. When attempting to submit the order, it failed because they didn’t have the quantity available of the dog food that was already in my cart. Upgraded it and now it remembers that it’s me logged in with the “Hi, [Name]” but it deleted all my pet and medical and vet and auto-orders and meds information!!! Please fix it! I need to reorder my dog’s meds. ### 1/5 — Yeah, it’s easy to use but it’s not good *2024-06-01, version 2.15.3* Nothing gets updated from my or the company’s end— even when you edit and save it. I’ve tried to correct my pet’s age multiple times and it continues to default to 0-1 yrs meanwhile he’s 10. Forget about updating/editing your vet info! It will not let you delete pets that have passed away. It still shows all my orders open (even when we receive our item), it doesn’t allow you to track your order due to the order stating open. Over the past few months, they've been supposedly "updating their system," yet my orders keep getting lost in the process. Despite having refills on prescriptions, their system often shows otherwise, leading to unnecessary hassles and delays in getting my pet's medications. Their AutoShip feature, which is meant to make things convenient, has become a nightmare to deal with. I constantly find myself having to call them to sort out issues, ranging from missing medications to incorrect refill information. It's not just a minor inconvenience; it's potentially dangerous for my pet's health when she doesn't receive her medications on time. The lack of communication from their end is appalling. Despite reaching out multiple times to address these issues, I've received little to no resolution. It's as if they couldn't care less about their customers' concerns. As a pet owner, trusting a company with my pet's health is paramount, and PetMeds has failed miserably in earning that trust. Overall, my experience with PetMeds has been a series of letdowns, frustrations, and concerns for my pet's well-being. I can no longer rely on them for consistent and reliable service. It's time to look elsewhere for a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction and takes pet health seriously. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-03-28, version 2.15.3* On multiple occasions I’ve tried to access my orders so I can re-order and the app just never works. I always have to wind up calling and then I have to wait on hold and listen to very annoying advertisements and irritating music. Thinking about taking my business elsewhere ### 1/5 — What’s going on with this app? *2024-02-29* This app used to work well. For several months now it closes, doesn’t show order history and sometimes after a search, it will pop up an ad and there is not a way to get out of it. (Hill’s). (I have even deleted & reinstalled). After placing the order it gave an error about the medication /cart, yet it charged my bank account. Last months order still shows in a pending status, but I received it. Now I’m on hold to confirm this months order actually will ship. Very clunky, time consuming and not worth it. We never had this app back then, so I’m not sure how they have all of our pets names from that long ago! Freaky!!!! It will not let me delete them! Recently, every time I open the app, all I get is a blank white screen, that never loads. All tabs are like this. Can’t track my pet’s meds or essentials anymore. GREAT JOB! ### 1/5 — Medicine order *2025-08-25* I ordered my dog medication, and have still yet to receive it. When I called to find out what was going on with it, they told me that the post office canceled the order and now they have to redo the order for the medication which is going to take 2-3 days. And that they can’t give me overnight shipping again so now I have to wait even longer for it to get to me once they get the medication. Keep in mind this is for a seizure dog. Absolutely ridiculous. I still have nothing on my orders that this second order is being processed to replace the first one so I have no idea what’s going on with it. This is my first time ordering with them and it has been a nightmare. ### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Work *2025-07-08, version 3.13* Useless app when I comes to account management and order placement. The captcha never works, so I can’t ever see my account info, update any info, etc. Ordering directly though my vet because this process is a mess. ### 1/5 — Good concept, 0 execution *2025-07-05, version 3.13* I got this app for my puppy, I thought it was kinda like the “NURX” app but for dogs. I was so excited and prepared for the order that I made for my dogs monthly necessities. Did not come at all after waiting over a month. I had to cancel because it was asking me for my next delivery since I made a subscription. Had to cancel and on top of that, my dog ended up getting infested with fleas since the preventative never came. Whole thing was a hassle and I expected more, I tried calling customer service-got no response. ### 1/5 — Utter failure *2025-03-30, version 3.7* Links don’t work. When you go to view your account you get stuck in a circle jerk of verifying you’re human. On 8th time and still nothing. I told Pet Meds I only had 4 days of meds left. The lady promised she’d send it priority. It is now 8 days. Customer service blew me off. They just forwarded me the shipping info. Shipping is a $14.99 USD flat fee no matter how many items you purchase and usually arrives in about 2 weeks. I allow extra order time, as once my order took a month, but that was a Canada Customs back up issue, not PetMeds. No prescription items are available for shipping to Canada and it’s a good idea to check prices and include dollar conversion to the cost. Some items are more expensive than here, but some are a very good saving even with shipping and dollar conversion costs. Customer service is excellent! ### 5/5 — Meds arrived quickly! *2022-10-07* Thank you for the quick response when I had a problem getting my elderly dog her heart meds in southwest Florida after the hurricane. You reached out to the vet and you shipped them next day with no added expense. I really appreciate that she didn’t have to go a day without her medication.
