Yes they require a subscription, but I think of it as a premium on top my pet insurance [PetPace should partner with insurances, that’d be AMAZING]. The monitor is high quality and has amazing results. Their prized jewel is the hardware. The app has everything I need. It’s not an amazing app, but it’s polished and still gets frequent updates, that’s all I need from their software (alongside their trusted ML models of course). **Developer response:** Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. The current app, however is frustrating, and it seems there is no longer an option to login from the web. The app takes 5 seconds to load, and then it often crashes. A delay after the 5 seconds reveals a pop-up ad! I’m paying a lot for this service & the delays are very frustrating. The original app loaded very quickly. Use email to send advertising, not the app. The better the service is, the more likely I am to recommend it. No need to remind me every time I open the app. The metrics in the app are great, however, it would be helpful if there were age-appropriate tips for a senior dog to increase well-being. Please fix the delays & realize that repetitive ads do not make the case for your service. Great service does. I always recommended PetPace, and the technology is amazing.
