Missing key feature of accessing medical records. No where to upload or view pdfs or notes of medical history. Lists past appointments but no area that includes a description of what the appointment was for or any vet notes (which is unhelpful). Also unable to schedule appointments in the app. User interface needs improvement, app is glitchy and just looks old. Missing ability to view multiple vet locations if you visit more than one. Overall likely won’t be using this app until it gets some major improvements from the patients user end. ### 2/5 — No advantage *2023-02-03, version 1.17.0* Link to update your info takes you to a request data page. Can’t update owners info. Limited usefulness. Used feature to contact my vet via email, they didn’t respond. Easier to just call. ### 3/5 — Improvement needed! *2021-06-24, version 1.17.0* Can you help us a bit? We are nearly low-vision and realized that the fonts on that app is hard to read. Looks like it’s one pixel wide. Barely readable. Few suggestion: 1. Night mode option 2. Option to thicken the fonts (adjustable as well) 3. 2-finger zoom feature Thanks a heap! ### 1/5 — Update to Touch or Face ID *2021-05-25, version 1.17.0* I liked the app when I could get into it, but the developer doesn’t seem to keep up with the technology- it doesn’t support Touch or Face ID so it asks for email address and password everything. I try and bring those in from my password programs - doesn’t work so I just go log into the vet’s website.....it is faster. The app seems to be useless - I’ll try it again if you update to current ID technology. ### 1/5 — Terrible stability, crashes non-stop! *2021-04-04, version 1.17.0* It used to be decent, but in the last few months, it literally will not work. It crashes every single time I try to use the app. Fix your freaking app!!!! ### 1/5 — Needs Improvement *2020-11-24, version 1.17.0* Cannot use app, needs better settinds to change font color and size in order to be able to use the app. Light blue font on a white background not a good idea. Dark Mode would slso be a nice idea. My vet switched to this app from their previous app manager and it was a lot easier to use. ### 3/5 — Decent *2020-11-20, version 1.17.0* I can find a decent amount of information on my pet appointments, can ask for prescriptions and additional appointments. However, the info is not very detailed, just says the date of the appointment and reason. Would love to see patient summaries or notes added. Also, I go to more than one veterinarian but don’t see an option to add more than one. Can that be added? Is it an option? I have a specialty/emergency vet, and a primary one. Would make sense to have the option to add more that having to choose just one. ### 1/5 — Can only have one pet listed? *2020-10-09, version 1.17.0* I have two cats, but started the app with the newest we adopted as a stray and can’t find ANY way of adding another pet into the interface though she already has records with the same vet. Given the other reviews of this app, I’d say the developers really don’t care about the concerns of those who use it and make the vet clinics look like fools for using it. Shame. Fix your app!!! There is a whole litany of complaints here from a year or more ago and your last update was 5 months ago, which didn’t seem to fix anything but “bugs”. ### 1/5 — Awful attempt at what could have been a cool app *2020-09-30, version 1.17.0* This app is no where near finished. Far too many issues with simply updating your profile or really just ANY information. You have to send in a request for any little thing you want changed. Also, they didn’t have my current pet, they had only a recently deceased pet showing up. So instead of being able to quickly fix that, I had to send a request for the pets name change, request to remove his profile but not the info, request for the deletion of his picture showing up every time I open the app, a request for adding my new pet, adding her name etc., etc., etc. Thanks for the reminder, fix this dumb app or delete it, that’s my request. ### 2/5 — Good app but..... *2020-07-18, version 1.17.0* This isn’t a bad app. The Pet ID Card needs to display the due date for vaccinations instead of the date it was given. We travel and having to keep our paper records is not a good option for us. ### 1/5 — Just downloaded the App. Malfunctioning already *2020-06-25, version 1.17.0* Opened the App after signing in and sending an email. It said I am not authorized. Uninstalled and reinstalled the App. Restarted my phone. Asked for updated password. It’s still freezing and not allowing me to type. ### 2/5 — Aspirational with no sign of technical progress *2020-05-01, version 1.16.0* Great idea, but it is obviously orphaned by its designer as seen by their failure to fix long term problems dealing with screen format. The menu obscures 75% of the screen which compresses information to nearly unreadable dimensions. Further, the app is only as useful as the data input from the vets which is minimal. Inoculation and appointment dates is hardly worth the space. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2020-02-07, version 1.15.0* The concept is great however if you switch vet clinics it does not switch clinics even when requested. My new clinic also uses the software but it’s useless. Even prescription requests are sent to the other practice. No medical records are listed, and worse multiple emails sent to Ally DVM without a response. Evident of poor customer care with no fixes to the app with multiple bad reviews. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — All of my reoccurring appointments that are twice a week I’ve disappeared *2023-03-12* I have used this app for years, but all of my frequent appointments are missing under the appointment section. Yearly appointments are still present, but everything else is gone. Hi reloaded and rebooted and it still does not reload. Thank God the office still had them all in their computer, but that kind of stuff shouldn’t happen. ### 1/5 — No support! *2022-11-18, version 1.17.0* Installed this and it worked well for a couple of years, then I was locked out for no good reason, nothings change from my end email/password, and my vet is still using the app. There is no technical support or contact for this app, i have tried password reset but the email never arrives and again no contact for help. Extremely frustrating! ### 1/5 — Locked Out *2022-10-05, version 1.17.0* For some reason I’m unable to reset password. Says it sent the email to reset but never received. Developer has no phone number that I can find to contact. Waste of time. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-09-27, version 1.17.0* This is most ridiculous app ever! Does not work right…only shows in a split screen view. Nothing I need to know is on there. Cannot see vaccines or records..utterly useless and of course Animal Care Center would pick this cheap site..they cannot even answer their phones! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-03-29, version 1.17.0* Tried three times to have the app send the email confirmation required for log in and it never sends such an email. So impossible to log in ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-03-08, version 1.17.0* My vet switched to this app for some reason. Now I can’t access appointment notes, lab results, or weight history. Just the appointment dates and prescriptions are listed. So inadequate. Who would ship this no-feature app? ### 1/5 — BEWARE - NO PRIVACY *2022-02-07, version 1.17.0* This app is perfectly functional for tracking your pets records & making appointments. HOWEVER, once installed it has access to your photos without any permission requests and it doesn’t show up in your app list so you cannot set any permissions. There is no way to tell what else it has access to such as tracking data, microphone etc. I’m deleting this app and informing my vet. ### 1/5 — Shows promise, but needs some work before it can be used. *2021-12-17, version 1.17.0* First, the confirmation email was blank on a mobile device. When I switched to my PC to click on the confirmation link, I was able to log into the app but it shows my previous vet, with seemingly no way to change it. Hopefully this will all get fixed fairly soon. ### 1/5 — The app connected me to my old vet *2021-07-15, version 1.17.0* This app “sets itself up” by using the email you gave your vet. I moved two years ago, and the app has connected me to my previous vet (I gave the previous vet and the current vet the same email address, naturally), and that’s where we are stuck. No way of connecting to the current vet. There is no troubleshooting guide, and no options to correct this. By the way, perhaps some people have > 1 vet (e.g. if they spend their winters in FL), but there is no option for this either. Worthless. ### 1/5 — Should be removed from App Store. Totally dysfunctional June 2021 *2021-06-19, version 1.17.0* This app has clearly been abandoned. As long as your vet is competent, the app will work just as intended. ### 5/5 — Works in Conjunction with your Vet *2021-02-28, version 1.17.0* We received a reminder card from our vet with the QR to scan for the app. Once we signed up, (using the email the Vet has on file) we received an email to confirm the account. We signed in with the information we set the account up with and returned to the app. Once in, our dog’s name was there and all of her history. We uploaded a picture of her and now we can see her past appointments, vaccines and prescriptions. If your vet is utilizing the app all of the information for your pet should be in the app profile! Very nice! ### 5/5 — I love this app! *2020-02-06, version 1.15.0* I love this app. I’m the worst at remembering appointments etc. I love being able to go in and see either any upcoming appointments, or upcoming vaccines and when everything is due. Not to mention I love the feature where I can go in and request appointments, or email the clinic. Logged in from the email my dog’s vet sent me and love that I can request appointments and rx refills. ### 4/5 — NOT as bad as reviews make it!!! *2023-08-07* I anticipated the app would be horrible based on reviews, but it’s not!!! It is fairly easy to use. I had no issues setting up an account. I love that we can upload photos of our pets and can view reminders of what meditations they are due for. Really, all I really wish could be be added is the weight of our pets upon last visit. It would be helpful when ordering medication online. In addition, I believe for extra security there really should be 2-factor authentication. Overall, I love the app!! ### 4/5 — Seems to be a decent app *2021-10-29, version 1.17.0* Our vet just recommended this app and because we travel a lot we thought it would be a good way of pulling up our pets records. At 1st I couldn’t finds the vaccination record. I found it in the Pet ID so that’s great. Also shows upcoming and previous appointments. and prescriptions. So thus far I think it seems pretty decent. ### 4/5 — Medical history and bottom menu *2021-03-16, version 1.17.0* The bottom menu is vertical instead of horizontal. It takes up half the screen. There is no place I see for medical history?
