It’s never been great but has some benefits. I primarily use it for booking my dogs grooming appointments. I like the option to rebook the last appointment but it just hangs and never proceeds on iOS. When I re-enter my pet, it tells me there’s already a matching pet in my account and I need to add a different pet. i used to be able to book grooming appointments easily and now can’t do so at all. extremely frustrating when this happens only after I sank nearly $1K into advance grooming payments. ### 2/5 — Can’t select pet for grooming after update *2026-08-15, version 15.8.0* The app used to be great, I used it for shopping & scheduling grooming. After an update that made layout changes, the app no longer presents my pet names to select when scheduling appointments. When I try to re-add my pets (which is a pain with all the data required), it prevents update with an error that the pet already exists. I rebooted the app & phone, still unable to book my appointment. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Checkout never works *2026-08-14, version 15.8.0* Check out never works, I have had a very, very hard time being able to actually complete purchases in which more than 3/4 of the attempts have always been “issue occurred” or “payment failed“ and that’s a problem because there isn’t an issue with the payments. In addition, it becomes an issue when you try and find items and the app freezes and has a loading circle forever, you end up closing the app more than 10 times just to try and find your items. Honestly at this point, Instacart seems like a better option even though there’s multiple fees and it will cost almost $25 in extra money just to get my order. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-08-14, version 15.8.0* I use PetSmart because they care the cat food brand my cats like however the app is complete garbage. It’s glitches more than computer with malware. Worst shopping app ever. Recently, however, I have been completely unable to add items to my cart, change quantities of things in my cart, or add a new payment method without the entire app crashing. Cannot buy more than one item at a time without going thru a full reorder process. I asked for first item to be delivered and expected second item added to cart would also be delivered. Instead, the cite ordered it as pickup only. Worse yet it ordered it for pickup at a store far away …. AND there is no way to correct this on the cite nor any help desk to correct it!!!! Buddha & Cleo have since gone to doggy heaven 🥺but I saved a mutt and his name is JamesBond! He just turned three ❤️ EVERY SINGLE GROOMER has loved and cared for all three! Buddha was nervous, and Joanie was super special with him and he felt amazing when she was done. Cleo could be pampered with no issues but again Joanie with her special talents and love made her too look beautiful! I immediately came in to show everyone JamesBond when he was just weeks old and, YES, Joanie met & fell in love with him as he has her. I don’t know how Joanie does it, but WOW, she is my all time favorite groomer and I ALWAYS try to book her when making JB’s appointments!ENORMOUS SHOT OUT TO JOANIE for her talents, huge heart, and love for all animals, especially mine. PLEASE NOTE, ALLLLLL the groomers are SIMPLY FANTASTIC & when Joanie isn’t available, I’m most definitely comfortable with whomever takes care of my boy JamesBond❤️ My deepest thanks to the PetSmart Groomers at the Manahawkin NJ location & keep up the fantastic work!!!
