PetStories brings together everything you need to look after your pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish and horses - in one place. A COMPLETE PROFILE FOR EVERY PET Details, photos, microchip, breed and habits. Share the care with family or a pet sitter, with granular permissions: view, edit, manage. CALENDAR AND REMINDERS Vaccinations, vet visits, deworming, flea treatments, grooming, training, birthdays: get a notification before every event, so nothing slips. PHOTO AND VIDEO DIARY Capture the moments that matter with photos, videos and voice memos. Preset categories (eating, playing, sleeping, walking, first time) or your own. A timeline that becomes your pet's story, exportable as a PDF. VETERINARY RECORDS ALWAYS WITH YOU Reports, health booklets, prescriptions, PDFs: keep everything on European servers and share it with your vet in seconds. EASIER TO READ, IN LIGHT AND DARK THEME In light theme, the buttons in confirmation dialogs, such as «Cancel», «Save» or «Block», were a coral too pale for their background. They now use a darker colour and read without effort, and actions that cannot be undone use a stronger red. Orange notices also have darker text. In dark theme, the «Delete account» item in Settings was hard to read: it now reads clearly. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT: WHERE IT IS REALLY CANCELLED When you chose deletion in 30 days, the app said that signing in again was enough to cancel it. That was not true. It now points you to the right button: «Cancel deletion», in the box with the date in Settings. The same instruction appears if you try to change your email while a deletion is pending. PETS UP FOR ADOPTION: SPECIAL CARE When a Pet needs special care, its profile now also shows the details written by the shelter, so you know what it involves before getting in touch. FOR SHELTERS AND RESCUES IF YOU ARE THE OWNER OF A SHELTER Before you confirm deleting your account, the app warns you: the shelter would be left without Owners and locked, and from then on nobody could request or download the backup of its data. It shows you the two ways out: download the backup first, or hand the Owner role to another member. SPECIAL CARE AND DISABILITY With the «Special care» switch on, you can write the details, and adopters read them on the Pet's profile. The disability description now follows its switch: if you turn off «Has a disability», the description is deleted when you save, and the app tells you before doing so, including when a description had been left saved with the switch off. EDITING A PET A breed longer than 80 characters made the whole save fail. The field now stops at the limit. ### 0.31.2 — 2026-09-11 For everyone • The pregnancy card showed a code instead of the days left • In favourites, a Pet on trial with a family now says so: not adopted, and it stays in your list • Texts revised in every language For shelters and rescues • Duties: the day's schedule on your phone, one-tap check-off and the shift PDF • Recognise the Pet from the row: species, area and box, photo one tap away • The arrival date is now required when you register a new Pet • New badges: Missing, Stolen, On trial ### 0.30.5 — 2026-09-02 Build 276 — matches the Android version currently in review on Google Play. TEST THIS FIRST (never run on an iPhone before): 1. Organisations > Dashboard > "Radio PetStories" row > play. 2. Lock the screen: the music must KEEP PLAYING, with the track title and controls on the lock screen. 3. Let two track changes go by without touching anything: it must not stop or skip. 4. Pause from the lock screen, wait a minute, resume: it comes back RE-TUNED (you will hear a jump — that is intended, it is a radio). On iOS background audio uses a different mechanism from Android (UIBackgroundModes instead of a foreground service): the code is the same, the behaviour needs checking. ALSO: - Messages: chat must update in real time, without pull-to-refresh. - Adoption listings: save as draft, and schedule publication. ### 30.0.3 — 2026-08-20 This version brings back content the app was hiding from you, and fixes a problem that could make you publish the same thing twice. COMMUNITY: NOT JUST YOUR LANGUAGE Groups and Questions only showed content written in the app's language. If you did not use it in Italian, lists could look empty — and a group you had joined would disappear from the list if you changed the app language. You now see content in every language. SAVING: NO MORE FALSE ALARMS When you published a post, a recipe or a question, the app could tell you it had failed while it had in fact already been saved. Anyone who tried again ended up publishing the same thing twice. Now, when a save succeeds, the app says so: it only warns you that it could not refresh the screen, and tells you where to find what you just created. This applies to posts, recipes, questions and messages. THE LANGUAGE YOU PICK NOW STAYS The language set in the app did not survive closing it: on reopening, it went back to the phone's language. It now stays the one you chose. GROUP SEARCH The search field closed on every keystroke, making it nearly impossible to type. It now stays open, and the list keeps loading results as you scroll instead of stopping at the first twenty. PET RADAR Places without a photo now show a themed illustration instead of a coloured square. Category icons have been redrawn so they look like one family, and in Saved places campsites, attractions and "other" no longer show an anonymous marker. EMAIL AND PASSWORD CHANGES The confirmation windows now tell you where to look for the message, including the Spam and Promotions folders — that is where it actually ended up, and without that hint the whole procedure looked broken. They no longer close by themselves after a few seconds: they stay open until you tap "Got it". The message shown after a password change now also tells you that we sent you a security email. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT If you mistyped your password while confirming deletion, the app could in some cases sign you out and tell you your session had expired. Now it simply says the password is incorrect, and you stay in the app. HELP A few answers described filters and features that no longer exist.
