Petzey saved the day! The vet tech we spoke with was really nice and calmly gave us instructions in what to do next and what symptoms to look out for if he had an allergic reaction. Thankfully our pup was fine (we think he swallowed the bee without its stinger) and we didn’t have to rush to the vet. Saved us from a bunch of worry and an $80+ visit. Thanks Petzey! ### 5/5 — Fantastic App! *2021-06-09* I used this app recently due to my cat acquiring some weird bumps on his hind leg. The vet professional gave some great tips regarding options to get rid of the bumps and her advice worked! Super happy to have a such a convenient app ### 5/5 — So convenient! Every pet parent needs this app! *2020-09-29* This app makes it so easy to talk to a professional QUICK! Our dog ate some chocolate and a Petzy professional was able to not only provide some very informative information, she was able to talk me “off the cliff,” so to speak, as I was freaking out over the thought of my dog dying from chocolate ingestion! Turns out, there’s a certain amount of chocolate they have to eat in order for it to be really toxic. Fortunately my dog only ate a small amount, and since I was able to call someone so quick, we were able to induce vomiting and he threw it right back up!!! It would have taken me an hour to get to the vet, and maybe even longer to have him seen! For $20 I was able to talk to someone who helped me and my pet from the comfort of our own home. Absolutely recommend this app for anyone who loves their pets! ### 5/5 — Comfort of second opinion *2020-09-03* My dog developed a blockage in her intestines. The Petzey vet guided us through an assessment with recommendation to take her in - once examined, I was presented with over $6000 of potential charges. I called the Petzey vet back and they provided a second opinion on the recommended procedures and I ultimately saved $3800 and felt comfort with the local vet procedure we selected. Petzey will always be my first call. ### 5/5 — Super convenient and helpful *2020-08-04* My dog had a weird bump/bite on his ear and I didnt want to take the time or spend the money to go to a vet or urgent care because I didnt think it was THAT urgent. I had heard of Petzey from a friend and tried it out. Such an easy experience! I was connected to a vet by video and showed him the bump. He walked me through his thoughts and what to do and we were done. ### 5/5 — Doggie vacay *2020-07-30* I used this app when my dog seemed to be choking while we were on a mini vacation! I didnt know where any vets were and it was late at night so most close to me were closed. I was able to talk to someone right away who could walk me through what was likely happened and that it wasnt an emergency! Saved me from driving 1.5 hours to the closest emergency vet! So incredibly helpful! ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2020-07-25* Our veterinarian recommended it since our dog was having her first litter of puppies. I was pretty nervous but it put me at ease that I could contact someone with experience at any hour of the day. Holly helped us through the entire first puppy’s birth & with another concern we had later on. She was excellent! I felt like a pro after she taught us what to do. Saves pet owners a lot of money and worry! Flat rate fee for calls at $20, less than half the cost of a typical vet visit let alone an urgent care fee. I contacted Petzey several times to NO avail! ### 5/5 — Reassurance & Guidance *2025-11-16* Hershey wasn’t acting like herself but it wasn’t serious enough for a Saturday night trip to the urgent care. April Murphy answered all my questions & gave me the reassurance & guidance needed to get us through the night. I have a sick kitty and I contacted a veterinarian on the app. She helped me out and made me feel more comfortable about my kitty’s situation. She said that it wasn’t an emergency, but to take her to the doctor soon. Which I am tomorrow. I, however, had my text enlarged on my phone and couldn’t find the button to add the promotion. I had to take off the enlarged text in order to find it so I could add my promotion and get the four visits free. Customer Service was a great help!! She took time to listen to everything that was going on with my cat and educated me on what to be alarmed about and what I can do to to alleviate those things as well as prevent issues from reoccurring. I had a much better experience with Sina than going to the vet (which stresses my Cat very much) ### 5/5 — Thankful *2023-12-29* This was my first time utilizing telemedicine services for one of my fur babies. I was a little worried about how useful the service would be when addressing my pet’s health issues since there would not be a chance for a vet to interact with my dog to assess my concerns. The tech I spoke with, Sina, was able to go above and beyond addressing my concerns, explaining the possible causes and what to do and look for while treating his injury. She was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Prior to reaching out to Petzey I had tried to get my dog in with an emergency vet, but they were at capacity over the weekend. Getting my dog seen by his vet during the holidays was difficult and rushed. My experience with Petzey, and Sina specifically, was easy and patient focused. Sina was able to tell me what “red flags” to watch for that would indicate my dog needed to be seen in person by either an emergency vet service or his regular veterinarian. All in all, a great experience. ### 5/5 — Tremendous, time and money saving, peace of mind resource *2023-10-27* I am so thankful to have Petzey as a resource. Two weeks ago, my nine-year old golden retriever, Posey, ate something out the trash that she shouldn’t have but we didn’t realize it until almost three hours after she had eaten it. On a previous occasion, when she had done something similar, we knew it right away and took her the the vet hospital for x-rays and induced vomiting. Between the time and cost ($400), we promised to not let it happen again. This time, because so much time had passed, we didn’t know if we should go to the vet because the window to induce vomiting had probably closed. So we called Petzey. Candace Ross listened to our version of what happened, looked at an iPhone closeup of a sample of what Posey had swallowed, and said we should stay at home, give Posey lots of water to drink, and otherwise monitor her. If she did not have a bowel movement within a few hours, or if we noticed her acting lethargic, we should then go the vet right away to make sure Posey didn’t have an obstructed bowel. The happy ending is that Posey did have a bowel movement shortly thereafter and we saved three hours and a lot of money by not having to go to the vet. I am certain that Candace would have told us to go to the vet right away if that had been the best course of action. But in this case, it wasn’t and everyone benefited from us not going. Thank you Petzey! ### 5/5 — Vet Video Calls for the WIN *2023-04-25* How convenient! Rather than schlepping the dog to the vet (an ordeal since she hates the car!) for a skin condition she frequently gets, I was able to connect with a very nice Vet via video call who provided me with a different food options and over-the-counter anti fungal medications—all for ONE low cost!
