About
Is there still time for the walk, or is it about to start?
PawWeather answers the question that comes before every walk — with the rain
radar of your national weather service, updated every five minutes: one hour
back, two hours ahead.
RADAR INSTEAD OF A WEATHER ICON
No sun-and-cloud pictogram for half a day, but the rain above your street. A
timeline to play back, your location at the touch of a button. Where the radar
has a gap, we show a gap — not a smoothed estimate.
THE WALK TRAFFIC LIGHT
At a glance, whether the walk fits right now. Including asphalt temperature,
for when the ground gets too hot for your dog's paws.
OFFICIAL WARNINGS
The severe weather warnings of your national weather service for your location
— with a note on what to do.
BUILT HONESTLY
No account needed. No ads. No location in the background.
EXTENDED FEATURES
Radar, forecast, walk light and official warnings are free – the light for an average dog.
With the extended features, PawWeather becomes the app for your dog. The light knows its breed and its sensitivity: a pug gets red earlier than a husky, and with several dogs the most sensitive one counts. Enter your walk times and the app tells you in good time when it pays to leave earlier or wait a little. If rain is coming, you know before the first drop falls. And on top: your dog as the app icon and the finer radar rendering.
The extended features are available as a monthly or yearly subscription; you see the price in your currency before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel — you can do that at any time in your Apple account settings. Billing goes through your Apple account; the renewal is charged 24 hours before the current period ends.

What's New in PawWeather
6.0.0
October 23, 2026
New in 6.0.0: • Ready for iPhone Duo: folded, the tabs sit at the side; unfolded in landscape you see Now and Radar side by side, half open one above the other. Both can be turned off in Settings. • Landscape on every iPhone. • New tab icons: clock, crosshair and sliders. • The radar starts a little further out, so the rain cells look finer. • Walk calendar: training and contact with other dogs can be logged. • In the US the nearest place is shown instead of the postal town.
