The retrova as a piece of hardware works well. My only gripe is that the custom dial would be perfect to adjust exposure but it Is not an option. Please add more B&W options including one that mimics just stripping out the color with no contrast changes ### 3/5 — Very nice filters, but the handle does drain the battery even when *2026-07-06, version 1.4.34* Very nice filters and a very fun handheld to use with the retro style physical device, but it does drain the battery while it’s on use. There are some bugs when you use it and to get around them, I was able to uninstall and reinstall the app to get the language back to the right setting. Would be nice if they could do an update to give burst mode to their app. Maybe in a future update. ### 4/5 — Good, some glitches affecting iPhone *2026-06-22, version 1.4.24* Used this app for the Retrova kit. Was confusing at first but in order to use telephoto lens you need to select the telephoto option on, otherwise picture is upside down. Second once you use any manual features on this app it will bug out the native iPhone camera app, one such cinematic mode on iPhone native camera app stops working and some slow downs on native camera app; a phone restart required. Otherwise once these software glitches are fixed, great app. ### 2/5 — Hot phone! 🥵 *2026-06-22, version 1.4.24* I don’t know what this app is doing when it’s running, but it turns my phone into a hot brick! It should not be using that much power. It’s too bad, because I do like the choice of filters and the overall interface. Another issue I see is that the settings option to change the photo storage location is grayed out and does not work. ### 3/5 — This is a pretty good app. I appreciate the filters, especially *2026-06-15, version 1.4.24* Update to my review below: Shooting proRAW 48mp photos is a glitchy, shot missing experience with the 2x zoom. Switching between Raw and HEIF causes “could not process” errors. Shots missed. Viewfinder not updating in raw/48mp mode often with the 2x zoom and manual at iso at 35 at least. Files sizes I will scrutinize next week because the Live Photo HEIFs and the raw photos are much larger at 48 mp than what the default app makes. Other issues include no P3 on Raw and going to manual, choosing 48mp, going back to auto says it’s 48 mp but camera takes 12 (minor user flow bug which is reproducible). Anyway overall good, but on the 17 pro max, I’m hitting a lot of unresponsive hiccups above. It’s a decent app but is buggy. The RetroVa camera grip and case works well with it, mostly. We will continue to work hard to release more interesting features ### 3/5 — 필터로 등록가능한 이미지랑 파일에 있는건 뭐뭐 등록가능하고 등록해서 재대로 사용가능한 갯수는 몇개까지 등록해서 사용가능한가요?(궁금) *2026-05-05* PGYTECH앱에 있는 필터 선택하는곳의 맨오른쪽 끝에있는 [+]를 누르면 앨범에서 가져오기 파일에서 가져오기 이렇게 두가지가 나오는데 앨범에서 볼수있게 저장되어져있어서 볼수있는 모든 이미지 파일중에 질문01)어떤거로 되어져있는 이미지 파일을 선택한뒤에 필터로 등록해서 사용가능한거고 질문02)선택해서 필터로 등록해서 사용할수있는 이미지파일로된거를 필터로 사용하면 원본 이미지에 있는 색감을 가지고 필터로 해서 사진촬영 동영상 촬영 둘다 할수있는건데 원본이미지에 있는 그색감이 그대로 필터로 사용되나요? 아니면 최대한 비슷하게 나오게라도 해서 필터로 사용되는건가요? 파일에 저장되 있는거를선택해서 필터로 저장해서 하는거를 하면 선택하는곳에서는 파일에 저장된 모든것들이 전부다 나오고 폴더를뺀 나머지 것들은 전부다 선택은 가능하나 필터로 사용가능한게 있고 불가능한게 있는데 질문03) LTU라고 하는 cube파일로된것을 선택해서 저장되면 필터로 사용할수있는건 알고있는데 어떤 cube는 필터로 사용할수있게 저장이되고 어떤 cube는 필터로 저장안되는건가요? 질문04)파일에 저장되어져있는 cube말고 그리고 필터로 저장해서 사용가능한 이미지파일빼고 다른건 어떤 어떤 파일로된거를 필터로 저장해서 사용가능한가요? 질문05)앨범에 있는거던 파일에 있는거던 필터로 사용할수있게 등록가능한것들은 최대 몇개까지 저장가능하고 많이 저장했을때 앱이 버벅되거나 튕겨서 홈화면으로나오거나 하는것없이 앱이 필터에 저장은 최대 몇개까지 1.4.14버전에서 저장가능하고 그이상 저장하게되면 버벅되거나 튕겨서 홈화면으로 나와지거나 하나요? 그렇다면 왜 그러는거죠? 뭐때문에? 필터로 사용가능한게 많아서 그런건가요? **Developer response:** Hald 형식의 이미지가 필터로 등록되어 사용해야 합니다. iOS 시스템은 64비트 큐브 파일만 지원합니다. 현재 우리 앱은 큐브 형식만 지원하며, 이는 현재 가장 호환성이 좋은 형식입니다. I subscribed to this app for a fee and connected the device to Bluetooth, but neither the shutter button nor the mode button zoom-in button works. In particular, when the photo shutter button is pressed in the app, the app stops running and there is a serious error that splashes out of the app screen. My device is the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
