## What is Phantom?

Phantom is daily chess for your memory. One puzzle a day, a board that fades into darkness, and three attempts to beat it. Short, sharp, and built for a streak — think Wordle, but for chess players.

CHESS YOU CAN'T FULLY SEE

Phantom is played on a compact 4×8 half-chess board, so games are fast and tactical — minutes, not hours. After your opening moves, the fog rolls in: pieces hide their identity, and you keep playing from memory. It's blindfold chess training disguised as a game — every move sharpens your calculation, visualization, and recall.

You hold three vision cards per game. Each one clears the fog for 15 seconds. Spend them when you're lost, or save them — every unused card boosts your score. Peek or push through: that tradeoff is the heart of every game.

ONE PUZZLE A DAY

Everyone in the world gets the same daily chess puzzle. You get up to 3 attempts to win it. A win ends your day; the next puzzle drops at midnight every day. No endless grinding, no doom-scrolling through puzzles. Just one focused challenge that respects your time.
