No thanks ### 2/5 — A long way to go... *2015-05-20, version 3.0.0* The app is constantly asking you to vote on the legitimacy of speed traps and cameras several blocks before they are visible. What makes matters worse is that the voting window closes moments before you can finally see the camera. The gps accuracy is very poor and the map system itself is horrendous. Finally, given the very unrefined state of this app I feel the subscription price is grossly out of line. This could be a great service with just a minimal effort. Too bad the publisher clearly doesn't care. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2015-04-09, version 3.0.0* This app is terrible. It relies on its users to indicate a cops location. By the time the next person goes by the cop they are long gone. It doesn't move with the police so it's worthless. Don't waste your time. ### 2/5 — Needs a subscription which is overpriced IMO *2015-04-03, version 3.0.0* The app itself is a bit clunky, it seems to have a hard time figuring out the direction I am headed. A subscription is mandatory and it's $10 a month... Way too expensive for info that is all user-submitted or public record. I won't use this unless it becomes ad-supported. They just let your tech support ticket sit there completely unresponded to. Deleting app completely. By the way, anyone notice this app hasn't even been updated since "Feb 2013"? Doesn't give me a real secure feeling putting on my device! I did everything I was supposed to. I registered and set a password. I verified my account. I tried to download info for my Garmin; the download didn’t happen. Tried to contact support. Support requires ID and password. Login tells me my email and password don’t match. This is useless if I can’t download and can’t get help. I am surprised people put up with this app for so long. ### 1/5 — Blocked *2019-07-29* I am a lifetime member of PhantomAlert but I have not used it for sometime because for the past 18 years I’ve been in the role of a caregiver . I’m trying to get my life together and I decided that I would re-download PhantomAlert. When I first entered my user’s name I initially created my account and a new password, everything work well for about a week the app performed great. Now the trouble began. The app began asking me to sign in with my users name and password and now I get the message stating (Invalid users and password.). After repeatedly trying to logged in, I am now being told that my account has been suspended. I was then ask to contact support but when asked for my users name which I never changed, I am now told my account is suspended for reasons unknown to me. Now, I am at a stalemate I’m at a point wher I can’t contact the website at all. I rush customer support would contact me to solve my problem. ### 1/5 — Could not even register. Got an Error *2019-07-26* When I tried to register for the app it gave me an error and said it could not connect to the server. ### 1/5 — Driving me up a wall *2018-12-23* Whom It May Concern: Please make an update to make me zoom out my current position and be able to navigate the map however I desire without the app returning at ALL times to my current position. It’s driving me freaking insane! I will pay for the full version ONLY if this update will be made. I am using the latest version of iOS on Iphone 8, so NO excuses on your part. App works. Very needed *2019-10-12* My customer showed me this app and I must say I could ha e used it 3 tickets $300 worth before. I’ve been using app for a while now and so far no tickets. Accurate and in your face visual and audio alerts. Very good for speed traps and speed cams. Also love the live traffic cam feed. Nice to know if traffic is bad or if snow is removed from roads. Overall, useful app. Would definitely recommend it if you drive and hate the big brother cabs grab in the name of safety. Am keeping my cash where it belongs... in my pocket! Lol ### 5/5 — FINALLY! *2019-03-11* Finally found a app that is Stable! I use this app along with a Cobra iRad radar detector. When compared to radar detector alerts, it's pretty accurate! As for the negative reviews, use with a radar detector for comparison results. If you travel the same roads a lot, you should be confident with this app. I will eventually upgrade to the lifetime subscription. I give this app 6 stars ****** PS. Lightening Fast Customer Support. It really works about an hour after my download I was pulled over by a highway patrol officer, patted down, put in the back seat of police car and questioned. Needless to say I've since deleted the app. Uh hello they can use it too so if you report speed trap and traffic is light they can deduce you as a suspected reporter.
