By my recollection, it was created in Arizona State University. Or one of them schools in the South West part of the United States, and was created I don’t know if it’s by criminology students or students in law school, but it was turned into a spy app for criminals. Dealing with your Bluetooth proximity. That’s pretty much really all I’m going to say for now anyways, until I find out a little more about it. I guess I should back that up and correct myself. It’s creation may not of been created by students for this purpose, but that’s what it was turned into. And I know that for a fact. But I’ve yet to experiment with the app. So I’m blind to its functions, strong points, or weak points. To give it a reasonable review, I’m not going to bash it’s head in for now. I’ll give it a four. ### 3/5 — Consider removing the C19 case tracker *2023-09-28* Seeing that’s not being updated anymore like beds and hospitalizations. They still say Covid cases are low because it was last tracked in May, but hospitalizations are significantly higher in some areas than in May. ### 5/5 — Useful App *2023-07-09* I check the app regularly to see what the COVID reported case rates are in my county. I am in two high risk groups, and it helps me make decisions about masking, contact, and other prevention measures. As a person with immune issues, I’d feel more confident about being at larger events if my fellow good humans all used this app. I know I am dreaming but I believe if private and public venues could mandate patrons use this app (before entry) we could stay ahead of the next public health crisis while also keeping ourselves and our fellow humans healthier. **Developer response:** We're so glad to hear that you're finding Wehealth Notify to be a valuable tool! There needs to be a real public information campaign about this. At this point, it’s just wasted development money. ### 3/5 — Love the idea, but… *2021-08-18* I love this concept but I only happened to stumble upon this when I was in the settings for my iPhone looking for something else entirely. I was pretty excited that an app was available but I haven’t gotten any notifications and I work at a hospital. So either there haven’t been very many downloads (which makes this practically useless) or there are bugs that need fixing. I have a feeling it’s a little bit of both. So please work on fixing the bugs and then please, please, please work on getting the word out there to the public that this app exists in AZ!! **Developer response:** Thanks for the kind review. At that time app promotion was limited to a pilot with participating universities but now it's available statewide and it works. Also recently the app supports self-report, removing the barrier to having lab tests and verification codes to notify others. We have a rigorous QA process and the server stats show continued and increasing use. For example I went and got a test from CVS, because I do not have the official verification code it will not allow me to post a positive test result. It’s no wonder I haven’t had any exposure notifications. No one can report a positive test result. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-01-12, version 2.1.5* This app is supposed to tell you of possible exposure in the area by using your phones bluetooth id number. I was around a positive person and then a group of positive people at work and this has yet to tell me of any exposure in the area that I am at. ### 1/5 — Bluetooth *2022-01-10, version 2.1.5* Bluetooth is not working and going to developer site is worthless ### 1/5 — Can’t report positive COVID test *2022-01-08, version 2.1.5* My wife and I just developed symptoms. It asks us for a Diagnostic Verification Code in order to tell if we’ve exposed. Neither the test results from Embry health or Sonora Quest have such a code. ### 1/5 — Worthless for Arizona *2021-12-06, version 2.1.5* According to an MIT study, only 1.2% if Arizonans have activated this app. MIT says you need at least 15% of the population to have this app for it to have any effect on public health. I have had it for many months and have yet to receive one notification of exposure. All the app does is drain my battery. ### 1/5 — fail *2021-01-15, version 2.0* This app rollout is a failure, AZ needs to adopt the Apple/Google system. Why can’t they move the importance of a working app up the prioritization list in a timely manner? If it’s well past the time that the whole state has a working app! So much of this information I look for online in different places on line, now I realize it’s all been in one place! ### 5/5 — Really Useful *2025-08-23* This is one of the most useful apps I have. It gives graphs of CDC data for flu, rsv, and covid for your area, heat and storm and other weather alerts, air pollution too. It has lots of info and I use it almost daily. Also if I go on a trip I can look at flu or covid levels where I’m going. It’s easy to change location and see other states or cities. If you have a very active state health department, you can get other info too. It’s the best app ever. ### 5/5 — Wehealth *2024-09-25* I am using the product.
