## What is Phase Scorer for Card Games?

Somebody at the table always ends up keeping the book. Round after round: who cleared their phase, who is still stuck on the run of eight, and how many points that hand cost. This app is the book — you play with real cards, it keeps everything else.

NOT A CARD GAME

You will not play on the screen. This is a score keeper and phase tracker for a real table: family game nights, holiday marathons, the same four people every Thursday.

EVERY PLAYER'S PHASE, ON ONE BOARD

• Each player carries a ten-slot phase strip. Cleared phases fill in, the phase they are on glows, and the strip slides forward the moment they complete it.
• The board shows the running totals next to the strips, so the standings never need adding up.
• Ten phases straight from the rulebook — two sets of three, runs of seven, eight and nine, seven cards of one colour, all the way to the final set of five plus a set of three.

COUNT THE CARDS, NOT THE POINTS

• At the end of a hand, tap how many cards of each type are left in each player's hand: 1–9, 10–12, Skip, Wild. The app scores them (5, 10, 15 and 25) and adds the total.
• Whoever went out takes a single tap and zero points — the most common case is the shortest path.
• Prefer to add up on paper? Switch to typing the hand total instead.
• Undo is unlimited. The whole game is a replayable record, so no hand is ever stuck.

CAN THIS HAND END THE GAME?

• The moment somebody reaches the tenth phase, a projection card says so.
• If more than one player is on it, the card names who wins if they all clear it — with your table's tie-break rule already applied.
• Your table's rule, not ours: lowest total takes it, or the tied players replay the tenth phase.

YOUR TABLE'S RULES

• Standard, Masters (each player picks the phase they go for) and Twist (a cleared hand can move you two phases).
• House points: change what a 1–9, a 10–12, a Skip or a Wild costs, and every hand recounts.
• Two to six players.

PLAYERS ARE REMEMBERED

• Permanent profiles: games, wins, win rate, average hand — and THE PHASE EACH PLAYER GETS STUCK ON MOST, a number the paper never gave anyone.
• Trends: game-night streak, average hand, most-stuck phase and win rate, plus a monthly calendar of game nights.
• Challenges every day, week and month, and 84 badges — one for every phase, from two sets of three to the tenth.
