## What is Phasr?

Phasr builds a personalized training plan for your goal and adapts it based on how training actually goes. Not a static plan that no longer fits two weeks later, but a coach that adjusts as you go.

ADAPTIVE PLAN
The app tracks how many sessions you complete and suggests adjustments when it makes sense. Missed two workouts in a row? Shift your plan by a week with one tap. Three strong weeks? Consider more volume. Change your weekday availability? Workouts move automatically with you.

BUILT FOR YOUR SPORT
Specific plans for running (5K to ultra), triathlon (Sprint, Kwart, Olympic, 70.3, Full Ironman), Hyrox, and cycling. Plans use proven periodization with build weeks, recovery weeks, and a focused taper into your event day.

FITS YOUR WEEK
Set per day how long you can train (1h, 1.5h, 2h, or 3h+). Key sessions like long runs and intervals land on your longer days. Lighter workouts on shorter days. Tell Phasr which days you can do which sport, and the plan respects it.

SYNCS WITH YOUR TOOLS
Automatic Apple Health integration: completed workouts link to your plan, HRV and resting heart rate are tracked, VO2max informs your pace zones. Push your weekly workouts to your Garmin watch with one tap. Push reminders for upcoming sessions and plan suggestions, respecting quiet hours.

TRACKS YOUR TRAINING LOAD
Training load metrics (ATL, CTL, TSB) with 14-day charts show how your body is responding. Pace zones are calculated from your threshold pace or VO2max, with safeguards so easy-paced tempo runs do not skew future targets.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All training data is stored locally and syncs only between your own devices via iCloud, so your plan stays in sync across iPhone and iPad. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party data sharing. The developer does not collect any data from this app.

Built by athletes, for athletes.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-22

Smarter Apple Health linking, catch-up for late sessions, and a set of reliability fixes.

Swap disciplines on the fly. Planned a ride but went for a run? Open the workout in Phasr and it offers to link the Apple Health activity as a substitute. One tap marks the session completed, and the workout keeps a visible note showing what was swapped.

Catch up on missed sessions. Apple Health workouts now link to your plan even when you train a day or two off schedule. Miss Wednesday's run and do it on Thursday, or ride on Monday but only open Phasr on Wednesday, and the session still snaps to its planned slot and updates your progress. When you trained on a different day, the completed workout now shows the date you actually did it.

Cleaner activity matching. Hikes, yoga, rowing and other activities from Apple Health are no longer imported as runs. They count toward your training load, but they can no longer auto-complete a scheduled running session. And when the same workout arrives twice from Apple Health, for example from a watch and a connected app, it now counts once instead of filling two sessions.

Cycling distance fixed. Distance from Apple Health was often empty in the completion sheet. Phasr now reads distance the way newer Apple Watches record it, so it shows up for indoor and outdoor rides alike.

Triathlon days that fit. Triathlon plans with more than one workout on a day now respect your daily training window, including during build weeks with higher volume. Both sessions scale proportionally so the total fits the time you set.

Reliability fixes:

- Reconnecting Apple Health from your profile now works reliably. Because iOS shows the Health permission prompt only once, Phasr guides you to Settings when needed instead of appearing to do nothing.
- Applying a missed-workouts suggestion no longer moves your race day, and workouts are never shifted past your event date.
- A stalled Garmin connection now times out cleanly instead of leaving sync stuck until you reconnect.
- The taper notice now appears only when your plan is actually in the taper phase, matching what the plan tab shows.
- VO2max and weight in your profile now always use the newest Apple Health measurement.
- Full translation sweep: every screen, banner, notification and coach note matches your device language.

Apple Health workouts now link to your plan even if the session was already marked as missed when you opened the app. Ride on Monday, open Phasr on Wednesday, and that ride still snaps to its scheduled slot.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-17

The 2.0 update brings an engine that watches your training week and acts when it makes sense.

Miss two workouts in a row? One tap shifts the upcoming week by seven days so you can step back in without falling behind.
Three strong weeks? You get a suggestion to lift your volume by 10%.
Turn off a weekday in your profile? Workouts on that day move to your next free day automatically, with undo.

Set per day how long you can train (1h, 1.5h, 2h, or 3h+). Key sessions like long runs and intervals land on your longer days, lighter workouts on shorter ones.

The reschedule sheet now suggests a day for you based on your availability and how busy each day already is. Triathlon plans support the Kwart distance (1km swim, 40km bike, 10km run).

Pace zones got smarter: safeguards prevent easy-paced tempo runs from dragging your future targets too slow.

Smaller fixes through the app:
- Workouts marked as missed or skipped can be reverted to planned
- Notifications skip workouts you have already rescheduled or completed
- Walking activities from Apple Health are tracked separately, not as runs
- Adjusted workouts show a short note explaining the change
- Quiet hours (10pm to 7am) honored for plan-suggestion notifications

### 1.032 — 2026-05-20

Version 1.03 – Stability and improvements

- Walking activities from Apple Health are now correctly recognized and no longer confused with planned running workouts
- Undoing a completed workout now fully resets all data, including your feeling and effort score
- Completing a workout manually no longer risks creating duplicate entries
- Improved training load calculations (ATL, CTL and form) for more accurate values
- Internal improvements for stability and reliability

In previous version (1.031): Improvements to training paces and training load.

Fixed
-Tempo, interval and threshold workouts now show the correct target pace. The app now derives it from your goal race time instead of from previous easy runs, which are too loosely connected to your actual threshold pace
- Training load (ATL, CTL and TSB) is now calculated using the correct Coggan PMC formula. The previous formula caused ATL to drop too quickly, making load appear "Optimal" too soon after a hard session instead of "Fatigued"
- Workouts where TSS could not be calculated previously (due to missing heart rate data at the time of sync) are now filled in on the next sync
- Training load now looks further back in time so CTL is more stable and accurate

### 1.031 — 2026-05-13

Previous version (1.03): Release with improvements to training load, health metrics, and bug fixes.

New
- Training load expanded: tap TSB, ATL or CTL to see a chart, zone breakdown and a plain-language explanation of what the value means for your training
- More accurate ATL and CTL calculation using the official Coggan PMC formula, with a longer look-back period for more stable values

Improved
- Trend arrows and colous for health metrics are now correct: rising resting HR shows red, falling shows green
- Walking activities from Apple Health are no longer automatically linked to planned running workouts
- Workouts where TSS could not be calculated before (due to missing heart rate data) are now filled in on the next sync

Fixed
- The undo button was missing from the workout detail screen for completed workouts. It is now shown next to the status bar
