But for the price it feels necessary. When it works, it’s an absolute blast. It would crash from time to time before the newest update. Now you can’t even make it through 9 holes before it crashes. I can’t even get the app to load on my phone more than half the time. I’ve deleted it multiple times and reinstalled it and redownloaded all of it with it crashing in the download and same for friend of mine I’ve sold on this. Very unfortunate, because it could be such a great thing. When it loads it’s fun, but we get a few guys together for group play and currently NONE of us can even get the stupid game to load! Not sure what the issue is but this software needs HELP! No worse feeling than driving somewhere, only to find out we can’t even get the POS to load! I should have been a sales rep for them for how many people I got in on it. HOWEVER I had to get the new club and sensor because my first one stopped working. I got it and it worked for a round and then the new update came and I couldn’t even make it into the app for hours. Then when I would the club wouldn’t register and couldn’t even play. Guess E6 subscription is needed now…The online play was fun with my family every week until the recent update where they made all online play speed golf. I play with people from all over the world through a simple facebook group. I got it to practice my golf swing and it really works. I have had a noticeable improvement when I play real golf and hit it further, straighter and easier. Can’t recommend PHI golf highly enough. Yeah it glitches sometimes but hey, I am playing against a Canadian, an Australian and an American, live from an iPad in my lounge so the fact that glitches are very rare is astonishing. Was very disappointed, so I very rarely played. A few months ago I upgraded my iPhone. I’m now able to play all courses worldwide and local. Playing Phigolf several times a week. The fact that I can pick it up at any time is priceless. Can’t speak for the subscription part of this app. But without the subscription you still get 10 courses. Only thing I was was different is not having to go back to my phone after every hit on the practice range.
