The 7300 brush itself is fantastic. The app’s main feature is training and feedback, but this fails to stay connected to the brush long enough to finish one brushing sequence. It constantly disconnects and says to put it back in the charger. However, the new brush is fully charged. So far the main training feature is a complete failure. Secondly, as a dedicated brush-after-every-meal adherent, the “twice a day” goal tracking by the app is inflexible, not to mention gross. I want the app to track my goals, not some bare minimum compromise goal. ### 3/5 — Can’t find toothbrush *2026-08-09, version 10.20.0* Used this app since my wife and I bought new diamond clean toothbrushes. Now it can’t connect to mine, and I’m kind of peeved. Spent a couple hundred on a brush, and it doesn’t connect? Update 8/9/26: I contacted Philips and they’re sending me a new brush. Sounds like a hardware issue. BAM 2 sessions of less than 6 seconds recorded and no way to delete it? I tried to unpair and it still stayed. When I went recently to my dental cleaning, which by the way is four times a year due to plaque. The oral hygienist said there was a mock improvement add that the plaque that normally built up between Cleaning was markedly less and that my gums looked very healthy. It used to connect to your brush handle and switch to the brushing screen, so you weren’t worried about the screen timing out and auto-locking. But now, if you don’t start brushing quickly, it’ll time out and you need to unlock your phone to be able to monitor your brushing. Please go back to the old system! If you want to make any updates, add a battery level indicator and remaining brush head life on the screen AFTER YOU FINISH BRUSHING, and consider adding a mouthwash timer button afterwards also so you have a convenient way to time it. ### 1/5 — Glitchy app *2026-07-16, version 10.20.0* This app kinda sucks. It glitched, doesn’t pop correctly and half time time doesn’t even show my brushing in real time. Don’t interrupt my life thinking your app is more important. Uninstalled ### 1/5 — Poor intelligence for a premium-priced product *2026-07-13, version 10.20.0* The toothbrush I bought cost more than 400 USD. It is the flagship premium product. The software it comes with, supported via this app, was a focal marketing point. You would think for this price, the app would be smart enough to attribute brush sessions after midnight to the same daily cycle, but it doesn’t. I also have doubts about the accuracy of the Focus map, which shows you a mapping of the areas where you haven’t been brushing adequately. I think there may be a tracking limitation depending on how you hold the brush. Also, the average duration and frequency sections stopped displaying average values for me this week. I tried resyncing, restarting the app, and updating it, but the issue persists. Overall, this app feels like an afterthought and is underdeveloped. You have a lot of work to do to bring up its quality to the price tag and claims you’re making as part of marketing your premium oral care products. ### 1/5 — Never able to connect *2026-07-11, version 10.20.0* No worth to download ### 1/5 — Great toothbrush, hit or miss app *2026-07-07, version 10.19.0* I really enjoy the toothbrush and how clean my mouth feels. The app however, is hit or miss. The timer consistently gets hung up while brushing, and at the end of cycle doesn’t record and asks you to continue brushing. If that doesn’t happen, the censor doesn’t record what side your teeth you are brushing. When the app works, it’s great.
