## What is PHOENIX CONTACT MARKING system?

Which marking suits your requirements? Find out with the MARKING system app! With the help of the integrated wizards and based on your key criteria, you can select a marking material quickly and easily from more than 3000 marking solutions for three different marking technologies. Once the appropriate marking material has been found, the individual, application-specific marking solution can be designed in no time at all – without requiring any specialist knowledge. The ability to create the necessary marking directly on site is a particular advantage when carrying out service call-outs where components need to be marked retrospectively. The label templates that are created can of course also be stored for future applications. Thanks to automatic data updates, you are always up to date.

Please note that the MARKING system app requires different permissions on your device for the full functionality.

Bluetooth permission
Without the permission to use Bluetooth, MARKING system is unable to connect to the available printers.

Location permission
Without the permission to access your location, MARKING system is unable to find the available Bluetooth printers.
The location sharing is technically needed because we use the user-friendly BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology to communicate with the THERMOMARK GO. With the help of BLE technology, available printers in the immediate surroundings can be automatically found and connected to the app.

Camera permission 
Without the permission to use the camera, MARKING system is unable to scan barcodes.

Da bringt mir der beste Drucker nichts wenn ich beim Kunden die App nicht starten kann. Passiert bei iOS 16 und 17, App wurde bereits gelöscht und neu installiert, Telefon neu gestartet, und nein, ein VPN ist nicht aktiviert! Schade, dann halt doch wieder Dymo.

Leider ist das Nutzen der App ein bisschen mühselig, vor allem weil es kein Tutorial/Erklärung gibt; die Symbole sind leider nicht wirklich selbsterklärend. Jedes Etikett muss zudem einzeln formatiert werden, was echt viel Zeit kostet. Kann man nicht einmal eine Formatierung für das ganze Projekt setzen? Was ich auch stark vermisse, ist eine Funktion seine Projekte zu teilen bzw. zu importieren oder ich habe diese noch nicht gefunden. So wie es scheint, ist es am Ende wenn ich ein Projekt speichere eine .zip Datei (laut des Dateinamens in der APP). Es muss doch möglich sein diese in der App „Dateien“ abzulegen bzw. zu importieren. Die cloud Anbindung/Backup fehlt ebenfalls, Projekte auf dem iPhone werden nicht ans iPad synchronisiert bzw. andersrum; bei einem Fehler sind alle Projekte weg. Des Weiteren habe ich anscheinend einen BUG ausgelöst der volle Kassetten löscht (oder die Kassette ist defekt). Das ist inakzeptabel. Ich hatte ein Projekt mit einer 18mm Kassette (0803936) erstellt uns abgespeichert, diese ist dann beim Drucken leer gegangen. Also habe ich eine volle Kassette eingelegt, allerdings hatte ich nur noch eine 12mm Kassette (0803938). Nach dem Einlegen bin ich anschließend in das gespeicherte Projekt rein und habe in der App auf Drucken gedrückt. Das Gerät führte einen Schnitt aus und sagte anschließend, dass die Kassette leer ist. Ich hoffe auf Ihre Rückmeldung. Vielen Dank.
