### 3/5 — User friendly 5/10

*2026-06-03*

Need to make a update to make this app more user friendly for the feild reps. An easier and simple interface will 100% boost time spent on a case .

### 2/5 — Needs Work

*2023-11-13*

This app needs a lot of work for usability. For instance, having the notes visible in the area where I’m logging my call so I can look at them while I’m talking to the person. There’s a lot of unnecessary navigation that takes up time and makes it difficult to complete a case 100% in Phoenix Mobile while on site because it makes our site time longer. Contact history doesn’t show the time you logged that call in so I have to write my times down on paper or in the notes section for an accurate timeline. It’s still a battery hog as well. Not to mention, how many years has it been and there’s still “Desk Time” field in the Field Rep case section of the mobile app? That’s more than oversight IMO…

### 3/5 — Needs improvement but is useable...

*2016-11-22*

I would love to see an option to upload photos from camera roll rather than having to take them with the app's live camera function, since the native iPhone camera app has several features which increase my efficiency (panoramas , cropping, etc.) It is also a huge obstacle trying to use the limited forms provided in the app when I still have to print the forms that aren't available and fill them out on paper - this is a time consuming extra step. I will love this app when it can replace my computer and clipboard, but it can't yet and I feel like it's being pushed before it's ready. I gave 3 stars because I haven't experienced any major bugs or crashes.

### 1/5 — Won't sync

*2016-03-02, version 2016.2*

Terrible! Won't sync on iPhone 6 or iPad after update. Tech support non-existent. Don't run this update.

### 1/5 — Pathetic

*2016-02-24, version 2016.2*

Wish I hadn't run the update which is full of bugs as mentioned. Customer service says they no longer offer any support to appraisers.

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2016-02-22, version 2016.2*

Just got to an appointment and the create new report has no fields to fill in address and get started! Now I have to fish out my clipboard!

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2016-02-21, version 2016.2*

I found the same thing and no tech support. What gives?

### 1/5 — Update 2/19/2016

*2016-02-19, version 2016.2*

After this update I can't start a new order. The address fields are gone.

### 3/5 — Great app but one MAJOR fault

*2015-08-05*

Our company loves this app and how it has helped us go mobile. It works great other than a few glitches here and there. The biggest concern we have is it does not save your drop downs that you have to customize to the cloud/log in info but instead saves it to the device. This is a huge flaw! We have created hundreds of customized drop downs that are only stored on that device. If you want to use another device like your iphone, upgrade your device, accidentally break your device or just need to re-install because of a glitch in the app, you will then lose ALL of your drop downs you created (hours of work). Hopefully the developers fix this issue because of the reasons above. When they do this review will go to 5+ stars!

### 2/5 — Major flaw

*2015-02-11, version 2015.2*

This app does not have the condition pop up when entering materials like another popular appraiser app. This is a real time waster when you have to spell out the condition or create hot keys for all material/condition possibilities. Let me know when this is fixed.

### 3/5 — Works but not totally efficient

*2014-01-27, version 2014.1*

This app is ok but does add quite a bit of time to my inspections. Also if you toggle between apps while using this one it resets and you have to reopen your report. Boo!

Overall I think 3 stars is the right rating. If the improvements section was faster I'd bump my rating but as of now you have to expand each category manually every time.

### 4/5 — Best out there

*2013-02-06*

Been using the app for a few months now...some bumps, as with any new tech. The difference for me is the suburb customer support the company gives. Helped me numerous times-even when the issues were user error.
Really is a time saver, iPad crapped out on me a few weeks ago, going back to the old way for a while brought home how much this app helps. There are some issues inherent to the iPad, but that being said (and having tried another sketch program) for the format this app is great.

### 4/5 — Time saver=Money Maker

*2012-12-21, version 2013.5*

I've done several hundred appraisals with this app and Clickforms. Without a doubt, it's a time saver. I have increased my production about 20%. You have to take the time to set it up properly. The developer is great about working with you on issues. To the low rating reviews, give it another shot and take the time to set it up and learn it. You will find it saves time, which equates to more profit for you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Time waster

*2026-06-25, version 2026.3*

So much time wasted navigating through the app, in and out of forms. What’s the point of tagging photos if it isn’t going to automatically upload it to the corresponding forms. Super redundant and inefficient.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-02-07*

This app is absolutely horrible but I have no choice because it’s the company that uses it

### 1/5 — Redundant

*2025-01-20*

This app Can be so much better. Year built roof type roof material etc should only have to be entered once. It should auto populate all data that is already entered in another cell. Like who doesn’t reference previous populated cell. 🤬

### 1/5 — Ehh

*2024-12-21*

I’m supposed to be using this tomorrow for the first time and the diagram is going nuts

### 1/5 — iPad

*2024-12-19*

This new update makes using the app with an iPad impossible, especially when it comes to the sketching… please fix this

### 1/5 — Phoenix

*2022-05-12*

Still a little clunky but better than a clipboard!

### 1/5 — This app is stupid

*2022-02-21*

This app has way too many glitches to be used with any job or company. I don’t know why they would us such a glitchy app

### 1/5 — I’d like the old version back

*2021-09-08*

Phoenix has had so many problems lately. I re downloaded the app. Now I can’t get my photos from my camera roll. Can you help me?

### 1/5 — No appraiser support

*2017-04-19, version 2017.1.1*

Developer site states that they will no longer be providing services for appraisers after September 2016 yet they roll out a new 2017 version?

### 1/5 — Will not work on iPhone 4

*2016-04-22, version 2016.2*

Updated as it suggested, but not working on iPhone 4 regardless of haveing IOS 7. Not yet able to get the older version back.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great program

*2017-08-31, version 2017.3*

This program changed the way I complete my field inspections for appraisals. Very easy to use, seamless integration into my appraisal program and no downtime issues. Five star recommended!

### 5/5 — Clipboard

*2013-12-02, version 2013.15*

I could not imagine going back to the clipboard...throw it away guys and get with the times. You will not regret it! The minimal time learning the process will save you a ton of time later!

### 5/5 — Great Ap!

*2012-09-12*

After a slow startup and a few boneheaded mistakes, I must say that Phoenix paired with the new iPad is awesome! I estimate a 20 minute per job time savings. The iPad paid for itself in its first month of use. There are a few integration issues with photo tag transfers and a couple of data fields, but these are very minor. Once these are fixed and more forms become available, Phoenix will be nearly perfect! Those of you who have embraced it know what I'm talking about! Wave of the future! Kudos Phoenix!

### 5/5 — Can't imagine life without it!

*2012-06-27, version 2012.205*

I think the other reviewers just didn't know how to use the technology correctly, because I have nothing but good things to say about this app.

### 5/5 — A real time saver, with stellar customer service!

*2012-05-25*

First off, I was skeptical about this app due to the less than stellar reviews, but I had been patiently awaiting an ACI compatible app that would truly save time ... so I gave it a shot.

I have been blown away with the smooth transition from good ole legal pad to iPad, in the field. I definitely recommend a stylus to make the most of the sketch. Everything transfers directly to ACI no problems; ALL the form data I gather in the field, photographs (labeled if I've had time), sketch. Plus, the home owners LOVE that we can see the square footage together, so there are no questions when they receive the final report (well at least about GLA).

The customer service is incredibly fast, helpful and proactive. I've contacted them twice, both with issues that ended up being on my end, and was up and running again literally within minutes.

The best part, other than the fact that this app is completely FREE, is that it's brand new ... it's only going to get better. I have suggested a section within the app to jot down notes while in the field, and from what I am told so have many others so it sounds like something to accommodate that will be coming soon.

I don't know if it is "a must" but I also downloaded the Phoenix Camera app, but I still take photos from directly within the Phoenix Mobile app.

Great app, definitely worth the download space!

### 4/5 — Remote clicker and volume buttons no longer take pictures after updating to iOS 16

*2022-09-28*

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have also toggled the PhoenixCamera setting in iOS settings. I am still unable to take pictures with either the volume buttons or the remote clicker. Pls Fix.

### 4/5 — It’s Okay, but…

*2022-04-22*

It works fairly well, but there are some inconsistencies here and there. For instance, the different calendar formats when setting appts vs requesting extensions or filling in the date of inspection. The one for making appts doesn’t give the day of the week, which causes issues when a ph said they want next Tuesday. Also, there is no way to import photos, no way to know if an extension has been filed, a woefully inadequate list of phone call results, and no “desk time”. The information given regarding Mueller @ Home is inconsistent and confusing. When done checking individual stamps, the “done” button takes you back to the case menu, not to the case info page so you can check the next stamp. This sounds like a lot wrong, but given what the app does right, it’s pretty good.

### 4/5 — It works....

*2015-01-15*

If it wasn't for the awesome customer support staff, I would have given this app 1-2 stars. Takes a little getting used to. I suggest measuring your own house a few times, taking photos, importing into ACI. Because I promise you will have some issues, but that's how it goes with all new programs. It works. I like the sketch.

Note to staff: would be really cool if you could tag all the photos to a photo page and not just descriptions. Would save so much time from having to re arrange photos in the report.

### 4/5 — Appraiser

*2013-07-22, version 2013.9*

Great for photo collection. Sketch program has no updated instruction for iPad. Field issues cant be solved in the field. Field selection needs to be able to choose two or three items. ie. wd/cpt/Cer/plus condition/avg/good etc.

### 4/5 — Carry No Paper

*2013-06-12*

This app is coming along well but needs a few more enhancements. I have been using this app since it came out. I carry no paper to the appointments. Yes, there have been a few hiccups. For example, I take screen prints of my sketch in case there is a malfunction in the sync or wherever. If you use the iPad and software to take the photos - you have to download them from the web site if they get "lost". I prefer the higher quality of my wide angle camera, especially in low light or back lit situations. Instead of using the photos within the program, I have an attachment I put my sd card into the ipad and I import the photos. Takes about two minutes longer but I have more control over the photos especially if I have to edit out the borrower's family photos or religious items. Huge time saver, love to use my iPad, and I look forward to future enhancements. PS when I have the interior photos I put them in order and don't label them. When they are uploaded they stay in order and don't try to fill in aci's silly prelabled forms. If you could allow the labels to stay the same and upload in order, and not automatically try to use aci's silly interior photo forms that would be great. If you could allow the photos taken with an iPad to be accessed for editing by other programs that would be great. If you could allow the program to be used either horizontal or vertical that would be great. If you could add additional comps in the form (not the photos) that would be great. Best advice, you have to use the program and your iPad for a while to get your own system. Like I said, I bring NO paper to the appointment. All notes are entered into the form (takes a while to get used to) or I use the notes section either in handwriting or typing. I also sometimes use Siri on my phone to take the notes orally and then I cut and paste them. It's faster than you think once you have a system. I eagerly look forward to each update.
